Can anyone help with this situation: My car was in repair at a repair garage who had in turn given me a courtesy car. Whilst having the use of the courtesy car I was issued a parking ticket from the local authority. Later, I received a separate invoice from the garage who are now charging me £23.50 for their administration charges! I could not beileve this bearing in mind I have already paid the relevant fine for the offence. Can I refuse to pay the admin fee of £23.50 to the garage??? Can anyone help me with this one?

Hi I have been browsing this site for the last month and still cant beileve that we can claim these charges back!!! I have now sent off the preliminary letter to my bank and am currently awaiting a reply. It has been two weeks and I havent had a reply off them so what should I do now? They havent even sent a letter acknowledging my letter to them. Should I now send the letter before action off to them? Help!

I have sent a my first letter to HSBC but I have not yet received a reply and it is coming to the end of the 14 day period. What do I do now? Has anyone had any replies from HSBC?
