  2. I've had similar problems... Moved from prepayment meters (Scottish Power & British gas) approx 12 months ago via Uswitch to Powergen. Set up Standing Order with Powergen. Asked for new meters-not pay as you go. Told I would have to be a customer for 3 months minimum. Meanwhile continue with pre-payment. This I do. At the same time they are taking £50 pcm from standing Order! They then bill me for nearly £1,000 and threaten me with court action when I have paid twice over already for the same service. Zillions of phone calls and letters later they refund me £250, replace meters but the
  3. I have had long drawn out correspondence with Virgin Media since Sept 2006 when the then NTL cocked up its Broadband and TV services. After complaining I was offered a special deal of £25.25 for TV, Internet and Telephone package. Great you may think but in spite of receiving this offer in writing it was never implemented and they haven't managed to get a bill right since. I have now cancelled the contract.   9. Direct Debit with Virgin Media I would be grateful for assistance. I have had ongoing problems with NTL/Virgin Media re supply of mutifarious products (TV/Broadband/Phone).   11. Release of Information By DVLA You may recall I queried a demand for monies as a result of my vehicle being seen in the Lidl Car Park at Croydon. The parking there is 'managed' by ANPR Athena. They subsequently obtained details from DVLA under Reg 27 of the Road Vehicles (Registration & Licensing) Regulations 2002. Unwarranted demands for monies ensued. These now appear to have been dropped. However, I had an interesting response from DVLA and an even more interesting phone call with a member of that Agency.
