I hope I'm posting this in the right place - HSBC just offered me £330 of the £380 I claimed back! That's good enough for me - I'm taking it! I already have a backup bank account set up with Alliance And Leicester in case they try to close my existing account down - I would recommend doing this to anyone - it takes a little longer but there's a lot less to worry about and the secound account gets shut down if it isn't used within the first 6 months.
