Can anyone let me know if they have been charged by the co-op for the release of the information on charges. I have asked for information with reference to my credit card account with the Co-op and they say I can have it if I pay £5. Is this normal? Cheers Fiona

Hi I have just joined the forum today but have already sent out a load of letters to my various credit card companies and holder of my bank account asking for the information on charges under the Data protection Act. However, the co-op have responded by sending me a letter saying I can have the information if I pay them £5.00 to release it. Is that right? Can they do that? If someone could let me know that would be great. Cheers
