  4. James Mclouglin (sp) made contact with me last week to discuss my case, anyway I didn’t have time to talk to him when he rang last Thursday but rang him back first thing on Friday morning. He advised me that whilst they didn’t contest the amount of the charges I was claiming and even hinted that they would be happy to settle. BUT it seems I may of made a bit of a boo boo, I have failed to indicate on some paperwork that I would be claiming the 8% interest (cant remember the paperwork he referred too).   7. Hi Guys, My court date is on 15th September and so far haven't heard anything from Mr J, Barclays or their solisitors. Could I be the 1st (I think) to actually get my day in court, not that I'm worried as I've done all my research Do people think I should expect a call soon? Cheers
  8. ***update*** Have been given a date of 17th Sept for my hearing. All evidance had to be submitted to the courts and all other parties by the 14th August which I did. However I have recivied nothing from Barclays. Has anyone ever recivied Barclays' evidance? thanks Jinx
  9. no, just putting together everything I need. so far I have the oft document (want to highlight relvant area's), all corisponance between me and Barcalys, list of charges. anything else?
  10. If one is offered an out of court settlement BUT with a confidentiality agreement can one ask for additional monies to be 'kept quite'? thanks
  11. definatly give the court a ring i waited over a month for a date, in the end had to chase the court up, turns out my file was 'misplaced'. cheers

  13. ***update** I rang the courts today and my claim had been filed by mistake. Give them their due they apoligies and within an hour I had a court date and time. lets see what happens now. thanks guys.
  14. yes I have done all that, the case is with my local court. But they seem to be very very slow in doing anything. Is there anyone to complain too? thanks
  15. cheers for the reply, Moneyclaim just says....... "You are unable to take any further action online on this claim. The Defendant disputes the whole amount you have claimed. Your claim cannot proceed online and will be transferred to the appropriate court for continuation. You will receive confirmation to where the claim has been transferred to shortly." Recivied Barclays defence about 2 months ago. Cheers

Hi guys, I getting increasingly frustrated by the slow speed of the courts, I first submitted my claim on moneyclaim back on March 13th, heard nothing from courts for nearly 3 months despite me chasing them up was just told there was a backlog and would have to wait. Then on the 10th June I received a CC of a letter that the courts had sent to Barclays giving them to prove that the charges were in fact fair. I know Barclays replied within the allotted time of 10 days, that was nearly a month ago now and I have still heard nothing. I rang the courts on Friday only to be told that the
  17. ****update*** Rang the court today to see if Barclays had indeed responded as requested and YES the response was with the judge for him to assess. I have requested a copy of Barclays response from the court.

  20. Hi Guys, It's now been 15 days since I received my letter with the comments from the judge and I still haven't heard anything. The Judge gave Barclays 10 days to reply, how strict is that? Can Barclays take their time of this too? Is it appropriate for me to approach Barclays to 'chase' them up? Thanks Kevin

Surely there will be a witness. This has a bearing on the time estimate for the case. Any observations please within 10 days, whereafter file to be referred to district Judge Jolly for dire
