  3. Yep!! I'll be sending the data protection Act disclosure letter off ASAP!!! From the statements I've managed to find I have about £400 to claim back!!

This month Abbey said that they will be taking £110 in charges. £20 for going over my limit, £30 for a visa payment of £6.61, £30 for a £6 visa payment and £30 for paying a direct debit of £22 when there isn't enough money in the account. I phoned them because I cannot afford these charges and as a gesture of goodwill they have refunded £50 but that still means that I'm being charged £60 this month!! RUBBISH, it really is criminal!!! AGRHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

I phoned the Abbey today asking them to send me a list of all the charges occured on my account for the past 6 years and after being on hold for ages they told me that they don't know that information, why did I need it and that I would have to check my statements. I do keep my statements but I'm not sure if I'll have all of them!! They kept asking me why I wanted to know and I said that I didn't want to say. They said that first they needed to know why I needed this information. Can they actually give me this information - without needing to know why or do I have to go through my old statemen
