  6. OMG I'm a d!*k sorry people I'm so thick have just worked it out lolol its the fee x 0.00022, then x this by the days Why is it I can only figure something out when I see it written a different way, Thanks so much guys I would never have went to court if I couldnt have worked something so simple out lol omg I'll laugh everytime I come onto this site now Thanks again Cath
  7. Cheers but no I cant seem to open any of them at the moment, although I have one saved in my documents. Think I have it figured now, sorry for this 0.065219 is the daily rate x 408 days for 1 charge, then the same rate x what ever days for the next charge and so on until all the chargs are listed, then add all up and add onto the charges?! I hope this is right Cath
  8. Thanks so much for replying you dont know how stupid I feel, I've tried opening the spreadsheets but its not working, so basically say for example one charge is £114.00 on the 11/04/05 so I apply an 8% charge per day until today?! 8% x 408 days is 32.64 Is this right?! Thanks Cath
  9. Hey all I'm so sorry if I appear to be really thick but I have read over the FAQ's so often, all the guidance notes and even looked at the spreadsheets to the point I could draw them from memory but I still dont know how to figure out my interest. I should have started court action over a month ago but because I've been so confused over the whole thing and was afraid to ask because I know I appear to be completely dunce but could somebody put it in childlike form for me please, I have my claim forms in front of me here and all I've filled in is my details, nationwides and the charges of £296.45. I'm picking up that I apply a charge of 8% so is that just 296.45 x 8% ? OMG I cant even believe I am asking this TIA Cath
  10. I'm sorry if someone has already asked this but I've searched and cant find anything similar, I'm currently on a repayment scheme with several creditors to repay my debts, all interest and charges are frozen on all the accounts until debts are cleared. What I really want to know though is if I send them letters claiming for charges will they then stop the payment schemes and insist on the money back immediately?! I was initially paying through payplan but have been making all payments and above sometimes by myself for over a year. I just dont want to rock the boat if it means I have to clear the debts in one as I definately wont beable to Thanks for reading Cat
  11. Hey everyone I had been previously on asking bout Northern Ireland courts and stuff, and havent had the time to start the court action recently with being ill and dd being ill too, so am getting round to it now, but guess what ni court service are online now too! Yeah I thought I would've had to go to the actual building and get the forms, haven't been inside a court before so wasn't really looking forward to that but from Monday it's full steam ahead!!!! Hope everyone else is going well with their claims too! Cath
  12. Well done coffindodger I'm really pleased for you, hope I have as much luck! Cath
  13. Ha Dave that sounds like the letter I received from Nationwide yesterday morning, they are completely defending their charges, well everywhere here (NI) is closed until wednesday morning, so will be proceeding with the courts then. Actually there letter has really riled me so cant wait!!! Bring em on Goodluck & thanks to all Cath
  14. Hi everyone I was suppose to start my court action against Nationwide yesterday but received a letter from a different department than all the other letters. This letter is from member services basically states that she is investigating my claim as the next step from customer services, if i'm not happy with her I have to go to Financial Ombudsman. It says in the letter though that she's allowed 8 weeks to do this, so am completely confused as to what to do. Should I give her 8 weeks and see what she says or should I proceed as I have already given them 28 days (the preliminary letter & follow up). Thanks for the advice guys I really want to nail these 'beeps' lmao Thanks Cath
  15. Hi everyone I've just sent my DPA letter to Abbey, although my accounts been closed since August 2005, am already at the court stage with Nationwide, sending it all tommorrow with them, Will keep you's updated and will see how everyone else is doing, GOODLUCK! Cath
