  1. I'm confused/panicking received counter claim from Lloyds and have decided to file allocation questionnaire with court. Went to CAB have also been advised to make sure I make one last contact with the Financial ombudsman before sending in questionnaire. what do I do? Lloyds did credit my account with £750 as a "goodwill gesture" etc I refused verbally but it went into my account anyway with the understanding that if I go to court then they would ask the judge to take this amount into consideration if I took it further. Amount claimed is more than £4k. Have until 2moro to file as deadline is 4.3.07
  2. Hi I am yet to put forward my claim for bank charges - what statement did you give as your reason for your claim on the claim forms?? So far, I have received three sets of bank statements and three letters, the last of which has refused to honour my claim!!
  3. Hi ya all Well, with regards to the above I am already experiencing trouble with a well known high street bank who has refused so far, to refund outstanding bank charges to me. I sent them a letter on/around August 7th on my own accord stating that I felt that the bank charges that I have incurred for the last six years on both my current and credit card accounts were disportionate (according to the advice given on this website) and therefore request a refund on all monies due to me. I received a standard acknowledgement 'Complaint' letter which expressed apologies for my unhappiness with them and reassured me that they would investigate my concerns that were raised etc. On August 17th I received a further reply more or less refusing to honour my request for a refund and if I was still unhappy to that they would 'refer my complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service for an independent review' I was given a deadline of October 12, 2006with which to reply them. So I take it I should now proceed to stage 4 which is the small claims court? Any further advice will be deeply appreciated. regards Sharon
