  4. Firstly they offered me £500, I laughted at them and told them to double that and i would consider it, within 5min. I received a call offering me the £1000 which I accepted. It didnt get to court, nor had I filed the court papers. I also got my wife back her £135 which she had been Penalized with for being £10.43 OD OVER 4 Years. The Halifax are only too happy to come to an agreement with you Stick to your guns

  6. I received a call from Halifax today offering me 50% of my claim,if I agree (In Full and Final Settlement) Any comments? :o
  7. Mr. Kettle also works in Coleraine Northern Ireland, with the amount of Consumers money he steals not surprized he probably has a Harrier Jump Jet to get around the Branches.
  8. 7 Days are up tomorrow 28/02/2006 Received reply=From Halifax My understanding of your complaint is that you are unhappy with charges you have incurred between 14th Oct.2004 and 31st Jan. 2006. The contact telephone on file is invalid and so we have been unable to call you to discuss the charges. We need more information to establish the basis on which your refund request has been made. Were keen to deal with your concerns as quickly as possible. A Customer Relations Manager will investigate the points you have raised and you willreceive a reply shortly, but certainly no later than 4 weeks. You will find enclosed a copy of our leaflet, which tells you how we will handle your complaint. Your concerns will be dealt with as quickly as possible, but to help us deal more efficiently with your enquiry, please quote xxxxxxxxx when writing or telephoning the number at the top of this letter.   9. I posted a letter to Halifax Head Office on tuesday 21/02 2006. I had reason to call Head office today Sat.25/02/2006. Whilst i was on the phone I asked the young Lady if Head Office had received my letter giving Halifax 7 Days to refund my £1018 which they had taken from my account. She informed me that Halifax have 8 weeks by Law to reply to my letter. Where do i go from here? Ayy advice would be greatly received. Great site by the way.
  10. I was charged £5 for 14 months Statememts from Halifax. My Wife is now on to the Halifax for her Statements. The girl in the Belfast Call Centre told her she would have to pay £5 per page. On over hearing this I took the phone and requested to speak to a Manager. After 6Mins. on comes Mr. Smart Axxx and assures me that the young Lady was correct. I could get no sense out of him at all,as he implied head office,{I ordered my statements from them) had made a mistake. OK. Iput the phone down. After 2 mins. with my Irish blood at Boiling Point I called 08457203040 again and was answered by a real Gentleman. After explaining my plight and what was said by the Manager he confirmed that I was right and not the Manager. My wife will now receive 3 years Statements for £5. I thanked the chap most sincerely and told him he should be Promoted to Manager, and that I would be seeking an apology from Mr.Smart Axxx Hope this clears some confusion.
