Just thought I'd let you know - I decided to email my letter to abbey rather than rely on Royal mail! Received the following reply - 'Thanks for your e-mail. This is a receipt to let you know we've received your message. We'll reply as soon as we can and try to make sure it's within 2 bank working days, sometimes we may need a little longer.' Ha ha - Roll on Friday!

Thanks - I shall send the letter off today. Hopefully this time, I may actually receive something!!

Well you certainly won't be the last judging by the amount of Members you have! I just have little faith in Abbey, so yes I will get them at some point but I doubt it shall be within 10-14 days!! If I do get them I shall have to check the sky for Pink Elephants!!

Hello, I have just recently (like an hour ago) heard about this site from my sister and think that it is wonderful!! I read through some of the other topics and got on the phone to Abbey straight away to request my statements for the last 3 years. Firstly my call was answered within 1 minute and I met no resistance!! I was told that I shall receive my statements within 10-14 working days and no I would not be charged for this, since I am entitled to review my own banking records!! You can imagine my shock, as usually just to find out your own balance can be very difficult An
