  1. I'd like to invite Plymouth College of Art and LD round for a game of poker! They should have folded ages ago, but just keep raising the stakes in a game they can only lose. All the best Fred and well done Patma and CAG!
  2. Thanks Alanalana I guess the thing that's making me hesitate is that the policy isn't PPI and is just the accident part of ASU; didn't know if you can only claim for PPI and ASU. Plus I was made to take this policy to repay an overdraft no a loan.
  3. My policy is more of an accident policy, don't think there's an unemployment element to it.
  4. Hi Back in the 90's I started my own business and needed to open a business account with the bank. I also needed an overdraft facility. Before the bank (Lloyds) would approve my overdraft application they insisted that I had to have an insurance policy that would pay out if I had a serious accident etc. They also insisted that this policy was bought from them. The business has long since gone, ironically I hurt my shoulder and could no longer do the very physically demanding job; needless to say that this was not covered by the ASU policy... I believe that this policy was mis-sold, due to the insistance of the bank that I have the policy or no overdraft facility. However, does anyone have an idea how I would stand if I submitted a claim. I've been paying about £15 a month probably since 1993! I'm especially miffed that the policy was of no use to me when I had to give up the business due to my injury and it wasn't covered. Any advice or suggestions appreciated. Thanks Are you letting your bank keep your money Are you giving away thousands of pounds?? Many people aren't claiming all of the money they are entitled to when they make their bank charges claims. You have been forced to pay unfair bank charges. Have you forgotten that your bank has charged you inteest on those charges? If you are overdrawn and the bank owes you charges - then your overdraft is made up of charges - money which you bank owes you. Yet you are paying interest to the bank - on your own money!!! - a nice little earner for your bank. Follow this link to see the discussions on this. You might even double the size of your claim.
