  1. Because I had all my statements and the charges I am trying to reclaim are from HSBC and lumped as "Total charges" each month - this is for going over my overdraft limit, do I still need to send A S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) letter with £10?
  2. Have only just received reply from hsbc requesting full itemised breakdown! Lookout spreadsheet! They have also asked me to include "any proposed new charges I will have received a pre-notification advice for" not quite sure what this means at the moment but they have thanked me for "taking the time to write" which is most appreciated, together with a customer satisfaction survey! I have only just started with a personal current account claim (£125 each month for going over my agreed overdraft amount! for starters) however my husband has had a business account with them for over 20 years and has a phenominal amount of charges - do the same principles apply does anyone know? Having spent a little time perusing the site I am amazed at just what people are claiming, credit card charges etc etc. When I feel I have been unfairly treated I have written to complain and only recently kept the baliffs from the door by Vodaphone (only £60) and Hertz Car Rental £42.65, nevertheless thus fortified and with the help of this EXTREMELY informative website hope to reclaim unfair charges made by hsbc. Thank you.
