  1. Hi all, Was flying from Belfast to London over new year and was delayed for 4.5 hours and after 3 rec?eived £3.50 voucher for food. I have checked website and obtained info at airport and from what I read am entitled to 250 euro compensation. Can anyone advise me on this or previous experiences?

  3. Hi I have two Iphones on a business account with 1200 minutes and 500 texts, when signing up it was 1000 and 200 and the additional were an added bonus for buying in store. I have since closed my business due to recession and am struggling to make payments at end of every month, I was concerned as my bills seemed high. First question - I am halfway through a 24 month contract, in my 14th month. Is there anyway of getting out of the contract due to financial difficulties, I have enquired about early redemption figure which is no different to paying line rental for next 8 10 months and of no benefit to me. Since day one I have had problems with billing. I was charged for data when data is inclusive with iphone line rental. More recently I noticed I wasnt getting my allocation of texts and minutes. This resulted in a credit of £90. I am far from happy with the service from o2, was a member for many years and moved due to problems and am only back for Iphone. Second Question - I have a very good number which is easy to remember and cost money about 10 years ago, anyway of holding on to this. Can this be transferred mid contract to pay as you go and new number allocated for iphone? Thanks for your help Paul
  4. For career purposes I didn't want to go down BR route. The extra £400 a month would be great but living with partner 24/7 might not be soo great!! Suppose I have to take the plunge eventually. I do feel like I would like to pay some monies back and also have a life. Also the £400 a month could maybe help towards a debt management plan (Don't have too much info on this at present).
  5. Hi Everyone, This is my first time posting but have been on forum re: Bank Charges for a long time. I had a Ltd company (Recruitment) and own house (50% equity) the CREDIT CRUNCH. I owed around £120k on top of mortgage at xmas time, luckily sold my house and paid off secure loan of £58k and some of my credit card balances. I now have £35k of debts. My debt balances are - £15500 Ulster Bank - Personal guarantee of business a/c overdraft £5300 MBNA Credit Card £5000 Virgin Credit Card £3500 Barclay Card £5000 Halifax Overdraft Personal £750 Halifax credit card Total monthly debt servicing - £800 approx per month if left as is I am closing down business and have gained new employment on £20k a year renumaration. I have recently turned 30. I would appreciate any advice or chats with similar experiences. Ideally I don't want to go bankrupt, have researched on IVA not sure about debt management plans. I have an option of moving g/f in charing rent of £400 a month which could help over time reduce debts, but it's game over when that happens Thanks Paul

  7. Finally got my statements after six weeks. It was six years worth and charges amount to £400, eight years ago i was continually going overdrawn as a student and young male and paid almost £1000 in charges in those two years. Has anyone successfully claimed back through Halifax after 6 years?
