  2. Thanks Kazzy you're probably right so I think I'll open a new account with my new found wealth am making good progress with the other claims so will be nice to see it all in one place... this site is great!! hope everythings working out well for you too!
  3. i sent my lba last week and today i got back my first response from them, a letter from Colin Langdale offering me £610.00 of the £685.10 that I was claiming for. The letter stated that this was to avoid legal fees / hassles etc rather than admitting any liability. It looks like HSBC are running scared.. hmm think they know they've not got a leg to stand on!!!! I was thinking of writing back demanding the £70 but to be honest i need the money to pay for the court fees etc on my other claims. So HSBC have been let off the hook this time... i've still got a mastercard account to look into s
  4. Last Friday Crapital one made me a miserly offer of £258 the difference between the £20 charge and their new 'reasonable' £12 charge!! Cheeky fiends, it's still unjustifiably high, this is going to be shoved back across the table and they can come to court... Tomorrow the LBA is sent Soon they will pay for everything!!!!! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Capital One - £680.00 12/09/06 - Prelim sent 22/09/06 - Letter offering £258.00 received HSBC - £681.50 12/09/06 - Prelim Sent Barclays - £2,065.00 01/09/06 - Statements requested (£5) 14/

  7. Hi, I have a normal current account and also a managed loan account held with HSBC, I have incurred alot of charges on both and am going to claim them back. Should I do them together or make two seperate claims? Thanks T
  8. Thanks Blacksheep, I'm going to get the ball rolling today!!
  9. Hi all, I have been hit with a variety of charges by the banks/credit card companies over the years but am not entirely sure which ones I am entitled to claim back. can someone indicate whether I can claim for missed payment of debt? (credit cards/loans etc) late payment of debt? (credit cards/loans etc) bounced direct debits? overlimit fees? card misuse fees? and any others I may have missed All of the above have been pretty much my fault but the stacks of money they've charged over the years have made it alot harder to get the financial boat stable again!!
