letter received from the FOS on the 19th stating that they advised abbey to settle within 28 days. money in my account on the 28th. spent by my children by the 29th lol.

Hi Once i had exhausted the complaints department of Abbey and they refused to refund me my charges i made a complaint to the Financial Ombudsmans Service on the 8th Feb 2007. They replied saying that they were doing a perlimary investigating my complaint. Letter from FOS on the 8th March 2007, stating that all though Abbey do not accept liability, but to avoid a full investigation by the FOS, they refund the total amount i was requesting plus statory interest TOTAL £7,330!!!!! and it was paid straight into my acount on 28th March 2007. Yippeeeeeeee
