  2. Offer to Settle in Full for £5130 received 21 Feb 2007. Accepted.

My claim is as follows Referral Fees = £2230, Interest @ 8% = £668.31, Total £2898.31 Unpaid / misuse fees = £2840, Interest @ 8 % =£757.93, Total £3597.93 Total £5070 + £1426.24 = £6496.25 + Court Costs Shall I do the following 1. Split the claims as above to get allocated to Small claims 2. Just bang in one claim and go for fast track If i split the claims can the defendant apply to join them as a single claim?

  5. Letter received 8 Jan 2008 "Thank you for your letter dated....... I am sorry that we have not been able to respond to you and ask that you bear with us. We are currently investigating etc etc - Signed Sandy Wall" Fax sent advising that proceedings will be lodged at court on Monday.
  6. You really need to tread very carefully, I am really surprised this case was allocated to the multitrack. If there are any areas of the CPR / Costs that you need help with then please send me a P.M. Please be careful.
  7. Total charges £5130 Not including interest, total amount claimed £4995.00 (to keep within limits of small claims track) 1. Statements ordered 30th November 2. Statements Arrived 12th December 3. Prelim / letter before action sent 13th December
  8. The balance of the claim was credited today - Settled in Full This claim was for a three month period, we are now making a DPA request for the previous six years.
  9. Just checked on on-line banking and there is an unexpected cash credit of £80, which happened to be the cost of the court fee. I will check this at the branch tomorrow, has anyone else had anything like this happen

  11. Claim 6QZ28510 - Acknowledgement of Service filed on 10th May, intending to defend all of the claim. I am worried? no I am going to win if it comes to court? Yes Does the Halifax know that I will be acting for my wife in my professional capacity as a barrister? Not yet, but they will after I complete the allocation documentation. LOL Score so far... Wife 1 - Halifax 0

Letter Before Action Sent : 6 April 2006 Customer Service Complaint Letter Received: 22 April 2006 Offer made by Halifax for £400 received : 25 April 2006 Letter Rejecting Halifax Offer Sent : 2 May 2006 Claim Issued : 4 May 2006 (6QZ28510) Claim is for £992.00 Including Court Fee of £80.00 The Above charges relate to a 2 month period. I am in the process of drafting the DPA notice, once this is done we will be starting the process all over again, we estimate there are an additional £3000 pounds worth of charges.
