  1. Hi There, Does anyone have any experience of the financial ombudsman service? I have got to the point of having to raise a court claim however i am struggling to get together the £120. I have looked into the fee remission and all that stuff but they say i can not claim. Basically i earn a good wage, i just have a lot of debt and a very tight budget! I will probably have to wait until after christmas to raise the claim. However in the mean time i have filed a complaint with the financial ombudsman, they have acknowledged the complaint and are looking into it. Just wondered if anyone else had taken this route? Thanks
  2. Well done....that is great news. I might have a go at writing to the FOS, I see on thier website you can download a complaints form. I am attempting to claim £3250 and I am struggling to get the £120 court fee together until next month so I guess there is no harm in trying this route!
  3. Hi all, Thanks to the information on this website I have started off a claim against LLoyds for £3215. I was able to get a schedule of all my charges from the internet banking site which took me about 20 minutes! I have sent the prelim letter and letter before action and got back the standard Lloyds replies, I now have the court forms and will be taking them to my local county court tomorrow. I am slightly nervous as the £120 charge is quite a lot for me but having read all the other cases on here I am hoping it will be worthwhile. One quick question, should I attach my schedule of charges and copies of the letters I have already sent to the court form? Many Thanks
