  1. Add me to the list - Barclays have settled in Full - Check out the details on my thread or "The Last Knight v Barclays" soon to be "The Last Knight v Barclays WON" That is the case won and not Barclays won of course. This site has been invaluable and is a great help when you think it is all too overwelming - Anyone still part way through the process - Keep it up, don't have doubts - I kept thinking that I would be the first who didn't get paid, I think we probably all do - but keep going and don't let them talk you out of it and you will win.
  2. Guys - Can you move or update the title of my thread to "The Last Knight v Barclays WON" yes that's right I recieved a letter on Thursday (picked it up after work) stating the usual that they do not accept liability but in the interest of cost and time they will pay the £4236.64p - All of my money plus the interest and the court costs - They stressed that I would have to contact the court to stop the case due this coming Thursday. I was aware that if this was done via post I would not get the money in time to inform the court that it had been settled - therefore I crossed out the secercy part, scanned it and sent it by email - with 5 minutes I recieved an email of acknowlegment and stating the money will be in my account by Monday if not today (Friday) - I checked my old Barclays account on Friday afternoon and it was all there - Monday I will let the courts know. To be honest I was not as elated as I thought I would be - Yes I am happy with the money and will spend it (half of it going back to Barclays to pay off a loan) but whilst it was going on it was like a fight to be involved in. As a last laugh I electronically transfered my money from my Barclays account (which I no longer use) to my new account at a different bank - when doing this you have to give the transaction a reference number, the one I chose was "I WIN". Anyway can someone add the "WON" bit to my thread and let me know where to send in a donation.
  3. I have now sent off my court bundle to both the court and Barclays bank Do I now have to wait for Barclays to contact me?
  4. I take it there is nothing in the bundle that is against my case - I read the first few pages and struggled to understand much - If it is OK I will add my schedule of payments and my correspondance and send it off to the court and the bank can anyone confirm that this is the correct thing to do. Also will the bank then contact me or do I have to contact the bank?
  5. I am currently at the position that I am organising my court bundle - I have read through this an understand very little - Should I print this off and send it to the court and the bank adding just my schedule of payments and correspondance - or are there parts in there that I should ommit - Also Do I need to contact the bank by phone and offer them to settle. I ask this because a lot of thread state that they have been phoning the banks. Or once I send my court bundle to the bank is it the norm for them to then contact you?
  6. I am of the understanding that you do get it back.
  7. Not in your case but I have just recieved my court case date for the 1st March - Do I need to do anything before then - Should I contact my bank personally or do I just send them the court bundle paperwork and my claim forms and wait for them to contact me.
  8. I recieved my court date yesterday for the 1st of March - I have to produce my paperwork for 7 days before that date - Can anyone direct me to the court bundle and explain what I need to do and how the court bundle proves my case.
  9. I read both but could not understand what exactly I was trying to say in "new" - If I had had time I would have gotten some advise - However I had no time because of the Courts mishap and therefore went with "old" as I could understand what I was writing - I still do not understand "new" but that is because I have not tried - It appears the best advise would be to us "new" so if you have some time keep asking the questions and get the best version onto the form.
  10. I actually took mine to the court and handed it in - I did not use the new AQ method because I did not understand what I would be saying and I needed to get it in straight away due to the courts not sending me the paperwork. I am now waiting to find out the next step
  11. I have also posted this on my "the last knight vs Barclays" thread. I had not heard about a court date and I have waited about 3 weeks - I decided to contact the online court people who put me in touch with my local court - I asked them how long it would take to receive a court date and they stated they were waiting for the N146 form from me and that it should have been returned by the 10th of Jan - They said it was in the letter sent to me by the online court people - However I had not received this letter - In phone calls to both my local court and the online court they have both said if I do not get this info in in time my case could be Stuck out and I can not continue with it - This seems pretty harsh to me as I was waiting, as far as I was concerned, for information from them - I will get this form to them tommorrow but am told if it has already gone to the judge it may be too late - What can I do?
  12. I have been on the phone and they have told me to fill in the forms as quick as possible - It could already be too late - If I had waited another couple of days before asking then I would have been well and truely knackered - They do not seem to be very helpful - they seem to be making my fault for not responding even though they did not tell me I had to - I was waiting for them to tell me - If they come back and tell me that my case has been struck out as stated on the form is there anything I can do?
  13. Oh Dear Oh Dear Because I had not heard anything I emailed via "contact us" on the money claim website asking how long it should take - I received an email today stating that my case was transfered to local court on the 22nd of December (that was the last contact I had as website stated this was as far as I could go online) The email went on to say that I needed to contact local court and gave me the contact number - I phoned and was told that they were waiting for my form number N149 which was due in by the 10th of Jan - Guy on phone told me that I had 7 days on from that to get the form returned - I stated that that was tommorrow and can he extend the time as this was the first I was aware of any deadline as I was still awaiting them to tell me the next move - He stated all he could do was log the call - Can anyone let me know where I stand on this.
  14. hek - Did you end up in court or was the case settled in time - Last time I checked (about a week ago) in on you I had the impression you were only 2 days away from court. Did it happen?
  15. I check on line on Christmas day and it stated that my case had gone as far as it can online as the defendant had now lodged a defence and that I would receive a letter from the court telling when my date would be - It is now the 8th of Jan and I have received nothing - is this normal or should I have something by now?
