Hi again, I sent Natwest the letter Subject Access Request form on the 6th of June for both my Credit Card and current account and have only received communication regarding the current account including my statements so far. How do i chase up my Credit Card statements. I was wondering whether it would be a good idea to phone or to whom I should write, the same address? and if so what should my communication include? Hi everyone, Just wanted to ask if anyone knows how to sort out reclaiming credit card charges, i have my account number at the ready but don't know if there's a slightly different avenue to take or letters to send. My main goal tonight though is to find out what address I need to send the letter. My credit card was a natwest mastercard. Any advice much appreciated as usual. Your all sound as a pound and gonna be at least twice as round!x

Don't have a chequebook any longer will a cheque from friend or family do?

Cheers for that info, my letters 98% the same just changed the last but one sentence regarding the usual address, as I have moved a fair bit and in the middle of moving again, and I will use the spreadsheet when the time comes. Am in the middle of getting these letters sorted out, don't know how to find out what my credit card number was, either have to leave it till I find an old bill or try asking within the S.A.R. ? Must I include the text which says Data Protection Act as part of the address. Or think it will be ok beginning it Retail Regulatory Risk? if that makes sense to you lot. Last question who do i make cheque payable to? ta

Not sure what you mean by the spreadsheet have printed off the Subject Access Request letter and sending to: HSBC Bank Plc Service Quality Team Arlington Business Centre Millshaw Park Lane Leeds LS11 0PP I will then check these against my own statements, and after getting the total sum owed will calculate the interest. A few quick questions: Who do I make the cheque payable to? and also do I have to keep the letter exactly the same or do I have free reign, must I keep the "claim it back" trademark thingy at the bottom?

Hi Everyone! As some may have seen, I am beginning the task of reclaiming my unfair bank charges. I have held bank accounts with Natwest and HSBC over the last 6 years, plus a Natwest Mastercard. To keep myself and this site organised my dealings with HSBC are detailed in the HSBC forum. I will use this thread to gain advice from you kindly people with regards to my Natwest account and (hopefully) credit card. I have a few queries to begin: 1. To whom shall I send my request for the details of my bank charges by Natwest? My local branch or to the head office or wherever the people who deal with these matters are based? The address would be helpful. 2. Any information regarding the credit card would be great as I haven't seen much explained regarding these. The credit card has been closed for sometime and the banks are unable to give me the details. I am away from home and haven't been able to sift through my papers. Anyone know how I can find these details out? Hopefully I will be able to bring together all statements and credit card bills in the next fortnight to check against the information supplied to me by the banks. Hi Everyone! I have been following this saga for a while now and thought i'd hop on the band wagon, as from my uni days i've never recovered mentally or physically........... but definitley not financially! Please could a few kind people guide me through my claim against HSBC's unfair bank account charges. I would be so grateful. I also have a NatWest account and credit card that i will be pursuing, but i'll enter the details on the Natwest forum to try and keep things organised. My first question's are: 1. The accounts have been closed by me, but i take it they still have legal obligations and must honour my requests for the detailing of bank charges i have paid and if unfair these charges to be returned (?) 2. Who should I send the first letter to? My holding branch? Or to the big boys in the city or wherever they crawl to? Many thanks!
