  1. Well since the update on this link: http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/lloyds-bank/23659-blinking_idiot-lloyds-tsb-2.html#post505474 we have finally received a court date for 18 April. So Gary H's suggestion worked. - Thanks Gary. Glad we didn't pay out to have the stay removed. I'll be submitting the court bundle tomorrow which will hopefully surprise SCM into making an offer very soon. If not, we'll just think of all the interest building up over the next 3 months. Thanks to everyone who has asked lots of questions about what to put in the court bundle, it's clarified exactly what I need, so I'm feeling confident.
  2. This is great, really useful. I'm in a similar position except the judge (District Judge Corrigan, Weston-super-Mare) stayed mine 'until 5 January or until further order on the basis that a test case is likely to be heard before a Higher Court'. Lloyds AQ did not ask for a stay. I was told that the court would look at this again on 5 January but this did not happen. The court officer said today that I need to ask the judge to look at this again so I will use the above, as the info in the stay removal didn't feel quite right at this stage. Good luck Spammer
  3. Hi Nona Thanks for the quick reply. I have sussed it out now. I have been going into the Lloyds forum through the search function rather than from the beginning so haven't seen the new thread link for months. I have been reading up on everything since August so I'm ok with the legal stuff - just not the posting!
  4. Hi Cheddar. How do I do start a thread in the Lloyds forum? I've looked around the site but must be blind. I've not done this kind a thing before. Thanks
  5. Hi I've been reading this forum for a while now and I thought it's time I added my details. I'm actually doing this for a friend and have found the info on this site really helpful. Trying to cut through the court jargon is worse than taking on Lloyds! We're claiming charges for unpaid direct debits and standing orders. We are now at the stage where the court issued a stay on 1 December (received yesterday) until 5 January - usual reason of waiting for an unnamed test case and opportunity to negotiate. We'll be sending a negotiate letter to show willing soon. Decided not to request removal of stay as it's not actually that far away with Xmas in the middle and didn't want to fork out more money. Will let you know any updates. Spammer
