  1. I am partly self employed as a 1 man business. I have submitted a letter to the RBof S re £1800 charges over the last 18 months. Reply from them states that this recovery process does not apply to a business account. Is this correct? I have since closed the account and operate through my personal account.
  2. I sent a letter to the Bank of scotland 3 weeks ago claiming back a total of £6400 of charges and interest over the last 2 years. I received a phonecall this morning offering me £3300 refund. I am now in a quandry. Do I accept this and cut my losses or do I go ahead with the next stage and risk getting nothing? I have asked the bank to put the offer in writing to give me time to consider.
  3. I have sent the first letter to the Bank of Scotland and the Royal Bank of Scotland. I got the type of replies you said i would get . The B of Sc have offered me £277 of the £4600 charges. Is the system for the next stage the same for scotland as it is for England. ds300855:?
  4. After over £6000 of bank charges over the last 2 years I have had enough. The banks are making around £150 per second profit at our expense and the really annoying thing is that when you try to speak to them about the situation they are not interested. It is heartening to know that so many people are fighting the banks. I eally mean to give this a go.
