  1. Like Michael has pointed out the total on the interest probably wont equate to much so I wouldn't even bother worrying about it, just claim for the charges on your account.
  2. Send your LBA as this falls within the timescales you've layed out. You should aslo send them a rejection of settlement letter to indicate that you will be persuing the claim for the full ammount. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/25716-rejecting-offers.html

  4. Yes Mick thats correct.
  5. Send the rejection of settlement offer letter. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/25716-rejecting-offers.html
  6. You should have two copies, one should be returned to the court and one to the defendant. Nothing else needs to be done although you could send the following letter.
  7. I used the same one for Cap One claim as I did for Nat West and it worked a treat.
  8. Hi Lori, just subscibing to your thread to follow part 2. Dont think there is such a template, and in all honesty dont think it would make the blind bit of difference anyway. I have seen many people on this site who have made two claims against the same bank and first doesn't seem to have any bearing on the second. I would recomend that you simply repeat the process you used with your first claim. At least you know what's coming this time round. Best of luck with round 2. Deller
  9. Hi and welcome to the site, You've definately taken the first step into claiming back what's rightfully yours. Spend time reading the FAQ's and the Step by Step guide as this will stop you making mistakes along the way. Use the letters and spreadsheets in the Templates Library as these have all been tried and tested in successful claims. Read as many threads as you can especially ones that relate to your bank. This is a SELF HELP site and won’t do the work involved for you. However, everything you need is on here somewhere. Don't be afraid to ask any questions, no matter how stupid they may seem, but please remember that any advice that you receive is normally based on experience only and that you should seek expert advice if required. Once you start the process of your claim remember to open a thread in the relative bank forum, this will enable you, and others helping you, to keep track of your claim. All the best in your claim!! 13. This is the quite exciting part, working out how much you're gonna get back.
  14. Just goes to show how automated their responses are with regards to our claims. Yes lori you would think they'd take notice of the fact that they've already settled one claim with you already, but obviously not. You know what the outcome will be through your own past experiences, but hey, if they dont want to settle early then they'll have to cough up the interest too.
  15. I would send a revised schedule of charges to both the court and Cobbetts and ask for it to be attatched to your claim. It is quite important that each charge is clearly identified with regards to charge detail and date. More than anything it clearly shows your compitance in the matter. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/182-6-interest-calculation-spreadsheets.html
  16. I think it's best to send everything recorded delivery if it's in relation to your claim, you will at the very least have proof that it has been delivered.

  18. You actually need to prepare three copies of the court bundle, one for the court, one for the defendant and one for yourself. It will probably be a good idea to leave it as late as possible to try and save yourself some printing.
  19. You should have recieved a notice of disscontinuance whith your settlement, this will have to be returned to the court to cancel the proceedings.
  20. Send a copy of your schedule to the court with this cover letter, (YOUR ADDRESS) The Court Manager Money Claim Online Northampton County Court 21-27 St Katherine’s Street Northampton NN1 2LH (DATE) Dear Sir/Madam (YOU) –v- (BANK) Claim No: ******** I have today requested the issue of a County Court claim via the Moneyclaim online service, details as above. Please find enclosed a schedule of the money taken from me by the defendant bank by way of charges, along with interest claimed at the annual rate of 8% pursuant to section 69 of the County Court Act. The interest in addition to the amount in charges equates to the total amount of my claim, namely £(AMOUNT). I respectfully request that the enclosed schedule should be attached with the particulars of my claim. Yours Faithfully (YOU)
