  1. When i took my pram back the store manager gave us a full refund even though our pram was over 6 months old

  3. letters, then court. that works but can take, time speak to the actual store manager not a manager who at toys r us are basicly jumped up customer advisors who have worked for the company for more than 2 weeks moan at him if hes not helpful ask for proof that you need a code from nintendo so you can show your solicor when you take them to court you have proof .Its all down to blaggin
  4. try seeing a solictor ,had the same problem no where near as long as yours .Ours was with phones 4 u for a 3 {the network three }contract we were told it was for 12 months as that was all we wanted but i signed it only to find out it was for 18mths ,kept phoning phones for u {there all centres}only to be told there was nothing they could do to be fair when we purchased the phone to start with i wasnt really happy with the phone and tryed to take it back within the 14 days period only to be purswaded to try another phone but was told we had a further 14days so after another week still not happy tryed to take it back only to be told the 14 days were up even though were told we had a further 14 days anyway kept bein told by phones for u nothing colud be done so we went to a solicitor explained all this ,she wrote to both phones 4 u and 3 , a week later contract was cancelled by 3 It might work for all you can do is try askin solicitors do half hour free sections

It seams toys r us have loads of manager i for each department the person you need to speak to is the store manager{the man/woman in charge of the shop and make it clear your not happy tell him/her how you have been treated and take it from there or i dont know if others will like me saying this take it back to woolworths or somewhere else tell them you purchased it last week or longer than that but say you havent got the receipt ive done it loads a times shops and call centre dont get scared with treats of legal issues or solicitors becasue they just think you trying to blag them

  7. no its like they excepted that the charges have been dropped to £12 and just give me back the difference from what was a £20 charge ie £8 .There was nothing to sign ,it was like them saying sorry we got it wrong but heres the difference back so do i cash it or wait so they carnt say it was a final setlement
  8. i got my acknowledgement of service from halifax today after theY acknowledge it on mcol and on there form they put there number for the legal dept {maybe handy if your going the mcol way and wana blag an early setlement ] try this 01422 391 096 it also says SIGNED a A O'Brien Head of LEGAL SERVICES .Hope it helps someone
  9. :confused:Capital one have give half my money back {even though i asked for it in full}but said they are reducing all my previous charges to £12 thats why i getting my money back .Ive replied saying that ill except it as apart payment but still require the full amout SHOULD I BANK THE CHEQUE THOUGH ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I learnt some info ,because the bayliff havent come into my house they have said they called twice when clearly they hadnt anyway i phoned the local fines place up and they said that the bayliffs were returning it back to the court .I was then told when back at the court i only need to pay the origanal fine of £80 because the bayliffs hadnt entered i dont pay ANY of there costs ha ha ha well as its nearly christmas ho ho ho

Brought a pram from the said above shop 6 monthts ago n the lok system on the pram has give up took it back to the shop nd they said they would get it repaired {can they do that} well that was over 28 days go what shall i do next e have phoned yhe shop an get told its no back yet .Can we get our money back ?:?

  14. NAH dont belive in giving good money away just yet i wana see what they say 1st ,any i got no money as im ready mcol in halifax twice and waiting 4 court date with abbey i know i shold send the 10 pounds but i havent paid philips anything yet and i wouldnt think i get it back:)

Could someone help me with a letter i am sending to philips bayliffs it reads as follows Dear who it may concern I am writing to complain about the fine you took of Kidderminster magistrates court .My complaint is that the fine was for £80 and now you have put it up to £360 because of this I would like a complete itemised breakdown of charges with relevant dates you have called at my address, Proof that you have called as my girlfriend is looking after our baby and does nt go out due to not having any money3 I would also like a full disclosure on all documentation held on me under Section 7 of the Data Protection Act May I also point out the following conditions as specified under the National Standards for Enforcement Agents 2002 Enforcement agencies must keep a complete record of all financial transactions in whatever capacity undertaken. Enforcement agents will on each and every occasion when a visit is made to a debtor's property which incurs a fee for the debtor, leave a notice detailing the fees charged to date, including the one for that visit, and the fees which will be incurred if further action becomes necessary. If a written request is made an itemised account of fees will be provided. what else should i put i think its ok but if im missing anything else some ones advice would be well taken p.s i read loads of threads and havent seen any letters askin for charges:-)
