  1. It will tell you on the form you recieve in the post. Mine was 5 days after the issued date (if you can find that). Infact, it tells you the issued date on the PDF that you can download when you click on acknowledged (bottom right)
  2. Paul. They have 28 days from when the claim was deemed served.
  3. Still no money? I don't know if you have been following my thread but I got mine today!!! (WOO HOO). I won by default and had a judgement against them and so when they came to look at my case they thought they'd better pay up sharpish! Looks like the beers are on you! Anyway, you should have your money soon. How long have you been waiting now?
  4. Magic. Got home to the same letter as you. I have finally won!!! CHEERS MATE
  5. Just got home and checked the post. Guess what... I'VE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fullsettlement, money paid into account TODAY! Just after I'd spent all morning writing a letter to send them. Letter is from DG stating that they never got the form, usually would apply to set aside the judgement but mindfull of legal costs etc etc etc... Just need to sign a form to state that the matter is settled so that the bank can get a certificate of satisfaction. THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO HAS HELPED ME AND THANK YOU CAG. DONATION WILL BE ON
  6. CONGRATULATIONS! I hope I have a letter there today as well. Will keep you posted. made up for you mate!
  7. Fantastic news Magic. And you hadn't actually written to them yet had you? The postman doesn't come until after I have gone to work so I won't know until I get home. I'm all excited now though! I'm going to be gutted when it isn't there! Still, I shall give it a couple of days until I send a letter with the hope that there is one on the way (if not already arrived). We did everything on the same day didn't we so it looks good.
  8. Thanks for posting your letter Magic. I have written one myself using yours and JamesRouses as a guide. We must be getting near the finish line now? Keep me posted.
  9. OK, I am goin to send the following letter (if approved by you lot). I just need to decide which address to send it to. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Sir \ Madam I am writing regarding my letter, dated 14th July, regarding my request of a refund on my bank charges of £1,467.00 As my letter stated, the time limit to respond was the 29th of July 2006. As I heard nothing from you before this date a County Court claim was issued against you on the 2nd August (REF: XXXXXXX). This was deemed served to yourselves, by the court, on t
  10. Thanks Bookworm. The reason I am not sure about sending a letter to DG is baecuase they have not contacted me at all. My correspondance has been with the customer relations department in Leeds and my Court action fas filed against the head office in London. I have never written to, nor had any correspondance from DG. Should I still write to them RE: payment?
  11. John, after recieving your default judgement who did you write to? Was it the head office address? Also when they asked for a copy of the judgement did you just send them a copy of the form you got in the post from the courts? I ask becuase I won by defualt last week and have simply heard nothing since. Cheers
  12. James, what did you pur in your final letter (before you were offered the money without interest) and who did you send it to? Did you send it to the head office where the claim was registered or to the usual sheffield \ leeds addresses?
  13. Which address are you going to send it to? Then London one used for the Mcol stuff, or the ones used for the other letters? There's about 4 of us all won by default at the moment. Just waiting to see what happens to who.
  14. Still not heard anything. tick...tock...tick...tock
