  18. Well, after a trip to the hospital fearing the worst, I was pleasantly surprised to be told that they've cut all the nasties out of my back, and there's no evidence of it having spread to my lymph system. :-D Come back in 3 months time and we'll check you over, but in the meantime feel yourself regularly in the shower for any unusual lumps or protrusions:jaw: so, scare over, but no sunbathing for me from now on, which is a small price to pay. Thanks for everyone's messages of support, they've been much appreciated
  19. Well..........................a great finish to the Test, 1-0 up, the Aussies in complete disarray, England well in command all we need now are some Aussies on here to laugh at!!!

  21. a real record-breaker 500-1 1st three England batsmen all scored centuries Highest partnership on the Gabba ground and generally, I would say, it was a winning draw for England, they should take more positives out of the match than the Aussies
  22. Great batting by Strauss and Cook, sets up a fascinating last day..............shall I stay up all night? or will that jinx us??
  23. Nicely balanced is how I'd describe it at the close of play on Day 2...........with the Aussies ahead on points
