  1. I was advised to repost this from the transport section...My wife applied for an 18+ Student Oyster card last night and paid the £10 fee online. Shortly afterwards we realised she would not benefit from this card as it is only used to but weekly or monthly passes and she travels into London twice a week.I phoned customer services immediatly and was told that the application cannot be cancelled and the so called admin fee is non refundable.I believe that I have a case for this transaction under the Consumer Protection(Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. I thought the seven days reference was for bus & tram passes.   4. Thanks for the reply. I think it's just annoyed me as they advertise it asd unlimited.. why not be honest. Vodaphone are upfront about their 1024mb limit.
  5. Orange are currently trying to persuade us to stay with them after a dispute over insurance. They spoke to my wife yesterday and offered her a tariff including unlimited Texts and Internet. I was sceptical about this and phoned today. The staff memeber told me the texts are limited to 3000 and the internet to 500mb a month. When I asked what happens if I exceed this I was told that we would be charged 60p/day. I'm just wondering how you can advertise "unlimited" when there is a 500mb limit in place.   7. I can report some success.. they have agreed to refund nearly 3 years worth of premiums (since we last upgraded) for both our phones.
  8. I haven't been given any notice. I was told by the guy at Ornage that my insance had been cancelled with immediate effect and a credit applied to my account. It's just added to my general anger at the way this issue has been dealt with. I used to love Orange.. not any more.
  9. I wasn't aware of that. I guess I need to put my complaint to the insurance team in writing first. I'm also not happy as I've been informed that my insurance has been cancelled without my consent.
  10. I believe their insurance is covered under FSA. They have "found" a black phone but cannot replace the other phone which is damaged. They have already credited our account with £170 (despite me not agreeing to their offer) on the understanding that they will replace one phone with a black one but not the other. I beleive I last claimed on one phone in May 2005 and the other phone they do not have a record of the last replacement.
