  1. I've had my letter back from IF to say basically that they won't be giving me a penny. What is the next step?
  2. Received my list of charges yesterday from IF. Didn't charge me for them either. Took 3 weeks when requested ober the phone from their customer service department. Will be sending letter out this week.
  3. I had to speak to IF a couple of weeks ago regarding some charges. During the phone call I asked the customer services person if she could send me out a list of charges to my account, she clearly knew what I was upto but said that it was a good idea!!!! Do I still need to send an official letter to them requesting the charges?
  4. Thanks for that, request for charges is going out in the post tomorrow.
  5. Could anyone tell me? If I am claiming against Intelligent Finance do I send my initial letter to Halifax head office or to the IF address in Livingston? Cheers
  6. Am sending off letter tomorrow requesting statements. We have banked with Intelligent finance who are part of the Halifax for the last 5 years and dread to think how much we have paid in charges. It's a vicious circle every month with them, I must be getting taken for £50-£150 every month. I've tried to speak to them just to ask if they can hold off the charges for a couple of months so I can get straight but no joy so it's time for some action. Can anyone tell me what the situation is if the bank decides to defend it in court? Would I have to hire a solicitor etc and what are the costs involved?
