  1. Norwich Union cloesed it's Liverpool call centre a few months ago, shifting all the operations based there to India!
  2. If you woro there, you will also know that they can tell who accessed the file and when. Then you'd be in a whole heap of trouble for accessing your own policy details.
  3. I work for R&SA. All calls are recorded, so if there is a dispute we listen to the call, if we are at fault, we will pay any claim.
  4. Take the money... you need the money more than them no doubt!
  5. I would suggest that any claim above the 6 year time scale cannot be claimed for. I think there is something in the County Court Act saying something similar...
  6. I'm in the same boat, had the same reply on their AQ about striking out. My court date isn't until April 25!!!!! I think we just sit and wait...
  7. Thankyou! That has really put my mind at rest!!! Hopefully I will recieve payment soon
  8. I had the same thing today, also dated 5th Janaury!!! Will ring them tomorrow
  9. On the "other information" section of the AQ, they write: "Cae Management Directions cannot be proposed until the claimant serves a reply to the request for further information whcih was due on 5 January 2007. In light of this, the defendant may amend its defence or apply to strike out" What should I do next??? Thanks!
  10. Do you send the exact same information to the court as you do to cobbetts? I don't remember sending a summary of charges to Moneyclaim - this was never requested on the online form?
  11. sent mine on august 15!!! they've sent me my statements for 6 years so i'm just using them
  12. I sent the letter to natwest requesting a list of charges, they cashed the cheque but have not sent me anything! I phoned them on their main number 08456012288 and they transferred me to lending. They said that they do not send out lists of charges only copy statements... is this correct? Also they cashed my cheque and won't refund it!!! What do I do next? thanks
  13. I got my first set of statements yesterday... all i did was phone the lending dept, transferred through from customer services who for £5 sent me all statements - starting yesterday. Unfortunately, my cheque cleared the same day they took the £5! Doh!
  14. I was very aware of just wasting days - especially because I only sent the letter 1st class - so had no evidence of sending. My advice would be to send everything recorded, that way you have a body of evidence if anything comes up later on. I'll just wait for my statements, go through and then send the next letter from that... just a bit more leg work on my part unfortunately!
  15. I sent a letter to the following person - Mr Alex Lyons Data Protection Manager Retail Regulatory Risk 2nd Floor Business House B GOGARBUREN P.O.Box 1000 EDINBURGH EH12 1HQ I have had no reply, nor have Natwest cashed my £10 cheque. I phoned the main call centre, who gave me the number for my branch, who gave me the number for Customer Relations, who then - after a painful 5 minute conversation with an idiot, I was transferred to the lending department. The person I spoke to said they don't send out lists of bank charges, instead what they do is sent all bank statements for the period requested at a charge of £5 which will be debited from my account. I have read through several other peoples post and nobody has mentioned this happening... Is this normal? I am thinking next I will go through the statements myself and record all charges and proceed to the next stage of the claim? Is this correct?
  16. i think the member of staff misinformed you - i'd suggest ringing them again and clarifying
  17. Natwest have always let me reinstate my direct debits immediately, just need to complete another mandate
