  1. Just received my letter today from CSS Collect Debt collectors threatening court action. They said I have 7 days, I aint paying them a bean so i'll keep you informed
  2. Yes i sent a draft order which i got from this website. Thought they might just be scare tactics. Thanks Fire fox for the piece of mind. I'll keep the thread updated with the response.
  3. Hi, i'm at quite a late stage in the reclaim process and have had a response from cobbetts that i'm not quite sure how to react to. I received a CPR Part18 request from them and replied using a letter from this web site that basically stated i do not need to produce this info unless requested by the judge. I sent one copy to Cobbetts and a copy to St Helens County Court by recorded post. I have since filled out and submitted an AQ form to St Helens County Court as well. Earlier this week i received a letter from Cobbetts saying they had submitted there AQ to the court and enclosed a copy. However, in the Other Information section they state " Case Management directions cannot be proposed until the Claimant serves a reply to the requeest for further information which was due on 23rd February 2007. In light of this, the defendant may amend its Defence or apply to strike out. " Can anyone help with what my response should be to this. Thanks, dink

  6. Hi everyone, firstly i like to thank the people who run this site and everyone who posts on it. You information has been invaluable. I started the process of claiming charges back from Natwest in September through info from an ebook that my brother passed onto me (letter templates were similar but not the same). The problem i currently have is that the process was slightly different than is on here. Here's what i did: 1) Sent letter requesting 6 years backdated statements 2) After receiving them i totalled up the charges and used the ssheet from here to work out the interest (£2,030 inc. int) 3) Sent a letter, in Oct 06, requesting full refund including interest and stating that if i didn't receive a full refund i would take them to take to recover the charges. 4) Got a standard naff off letter back saying that they didn't agree with the OFT and that they wasn't going to refund any charges. My first question is do i now proceed with a moneyclaim claim or do i send them another letter giving them another chance? Secondly, in the few months since i initially sent my letter requesting a refund of my charges they have hit me with another £150ish. Do i need a fresh claim for this or can i tag it on to this one? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, dink
