  3. I settled for statutory,they were wiliing to pay without argument,and i needed the money:DI didnt want to antaganise Barclays unnecessarily,they are my main bankers.Morgan Stanley paid contractual,but have closed my account:(

    :mad:The banks are beginning to retaliate!I have finished all my claims 12 all together,now i am getting letters from the banks.Barclays,'we regret we have to remove the cash facility on your card.'Amex credit facility withdrawn. Morgan Stanley 'we would like to carry on business with you BUT because of your claim we can not! Credit agreement withdrawn in 30 days Anyone else getting this treatment?

  11. this is perfectly normal.make sure they stick to your timetable,ie 40 days:) read all the FAQS and the process will become clear!
  12. It wont do any harm to start on your court bundle,although it may be a while before you need it:)It willl give you time to learn what it is all about,so you are confident when ,hopefully, you speak to them on the phone in a few weeks
  13. :Dlifes a bit easier now,just had a few days in Krackow,followed by a weekend in North Yorkshire:Dnow back to the grindstone !!
  14. get your court bundle done,and wait for a letter offering settlement,be prepared for a little bit of wrangling,if you've not heard by end of Feb give them a ring
  15. 1 you dont HAVE to send A/Q to Barclays according to my court 2 it doesnt sound normal ,have you spoken to any of the courts?

  21. Hi kez ,if you dont understand the court bundle,you really aren,t prepared ,keep reading on here start with FAQ's etc I think Bankfodder recommends 3 days !! What exactly on the index do you not understand? You start with your correspondence with the bank,your list of charges,your bank statements and the rest you print out

Hi Mrp i shouldnt worry too much about having an estimated claim in,mine was estimated and they have just told me the correct figures today(after i had got my court date )although my statements have arrived too:rolleyes:the settlement offer they have made seems about right:Dbobtheb v Barclaycard
  24. Barclays are not likely to make you another offer you have to go all the way to court with them,but they will settle then:)
