  2. Hi GMAC say that it will be 5.2 plus LIBOR at the moment I am at 7.99% which is mad so any higher than that then I will be worried. I wonder if I could get another fixed with GMAC?

  4. Hi all, I have a mortgage with GMAC. I am in a fixed but this finishes in October and goes to LIBBOR. I am in one months arrears and have an arrangement which is fine. But I can not stay with GMAC as mortgage will go up by £300. Any ideas anyone? I have CCJ's

  6. Hello All I am recovering charges for the third and final time (I hope) anyway I followed aother threads/advice and sent a prelim, hardship letter and expenditure. I received an obviously standadrd letter within four days saying 'Sorry ... will investigate within four weeks etc' I am in hardship so do I wait the 14 days as prelim says before contacting them again?
  7. Thanks Tomtubby I have done all of what you have suggested already. I know that I have been overcharged I have worked it out but I have probably underestimated anyway this has been going on for ages now so I just need advice on what to write on the N1.

  12. Can someone please explain what an ajournment order is? One has been granted in relation to Gmac originally applying for a repossession order. they agreed that if I paid X amount the hearing would be cancelled but now I am told that they have an adjournment order.
  13. I feel for you, trust me i and many others on this site have been through or is going through similar difficulties. You must do what is right for you and your family but with the knowledge that 'they' will catch up with you. I believe that if you were comfortable with your decision you would not have posted on this site. There is lots of support and advice here. Whatever path you choose I wish you well but don't make a knee jerk decision just think about the options available. Best wishes
