  1. So it's the 19/10/06 we have heard nothing from Lloyds or the courts the warrant has been issued. Do we now just wait, I have looked on the money claim site at advice on warrants and once it has been issued they are given 7 days and then the baliff's go in. This is how I understand it. Should we have heard from the courts by now if the judgement had been stayed ? Any advice welcome. Cheers Ali
  2. Oh God this is just going on and on and the longer it goes on the more I feel I'm not going to get there. At the stage of issuing a warrant which I did this morning, my husband has had a phone call that Lloyds who are now trying to get the judgement set aside. Claiming they have not received any correspondance with regards to the claim. They have sent us three letters regarding our claim saying sorry your not happy but tough luck. Can they do this ? Also when we issued the judgement we gave them 14 days which was up on Tuesday , they hadn't done anything up until today , but isn't it too late !! Apparently the money claim adviser said they have up to the 27/10/06 before the CCJ will be issued. Has anyone out there been in the situation, be glad of any advice !!! Ta Ali
  3. Yes the judgement has been granted and the date of response was set at 10/10/06.
  4. Help Needed I have gone through the whole process following advice from this web site, we have not really had much response from Lloyds at all. We issued a claim through money claim via the internet and this was still not met by any reaction. I have issued the judgement with the date of 10/10/06 I have still not received any thing from Lloyds. The next step as I beleive is to issue the warrant, anyone who has done this can you let me know what it entails. Thanks for any advice, I will check out the FAQ Thanks again Ali
  5. Thanks for that it's reassuring to be told by people who have been in the same position what's happened to them. I will keep you posted. If they do file the defence do you get it through the post from the courts ?? Fingers crossed and thanks again. Ali Carnall
  6. Hi Phil I have been trying on behalf of my husband to claim back Lloyds TSB charges, we issued our claim and issued our judgement on Monday , I have set the date at the 14/10/06 . I would be gratefull of any good advice you have or receive through the forum to be passed on to myself. I have never done anything like this before, I issued the claim and judgement through moneyclaim on line and have called their help line on a number of occasions to check I'm doing it right, we haven't heard anything from Lloyds since their letter saying, that their sorry we not happy with their service but we wont give you a penny back is this what's happened with your claim ? Cheers for any advice you have. Ali Carnall
  7. Dear Sharman I'm in the same position as you. I'm trying to claim back charges on behalf of my husband, as he's not really any good on the computer and was completely unware of how much he had been charged over the years. After geeting the statements he realised it was well over £2500.00, also he had been charged £120.00 for failed dd and declined cheques. We have sent off the first letter claiming the refund of the charges and have now received a letter back saying how sorry they are he's not happy with their service and will reply in the next two weeks, their 14 days is up on Friday 18th August and I will be sending the letter of intention of action. Bit scary as never done anything like this before, but have just been following the steps on the website which have been pretty straight forward so far, but I do worry that if we go to court will I be out of my depth. Cheers Ali Carnall
  8. Hi I have recently written to my husbands bank after watching the TV programme a few months ago. We have now received statements and the total charges to be reclaimed is £2177.00 over a couple of years. I'm just now filling in the spreadsheet and second letter, it's never wracking and I hope I don't make any mistakes and loose the chance. I will let you know how we get on. Ali Carnall
