HI My first account claim took less than a week for full payment; started second claim this one seems to be taking its time........ was nearly a week before it was acknowledged !!! So SORRY not sure !!

Anyone got anymore thoughts ??????????

oops not sure why that sent twice ! My first claim was a tester if you like to a old closed account with not too much money involved; the second is our joint account and is a larger sum !!!! I wanted to ensure I knew what was going on so thought it best to give the first one a go .....

Hi honey bad... I issued my second claim on the 30th Oct' it took much longer than my first claim; but it was acknowledged on the 6th Nov not sure if this helps much !! but it may...

MIKEY GO FOR IT .... I was the same as you with my first claim; but with the site I got threw it !!! & now I am on my second claim and still feel abit daunted .... BUT its better in my pocket than the banks !!! Good luck, read lots !!

Bluecloud; I see from your signature that you have also started claiming vs HLX CC; do you mind if I ask what you are claiming ?? I have had numerous CC's over the years and possibly have been charged late fees but thats about it I THINK !!! any words of wisdom would be great Cheers Tricky

oh .. how interesting .... the letter of the 6th Sept spoke about 8 weeks; it just so happens that was up on the 31st Oct; & i filed on the 30th !!!! Will just keep sat tight with fingers crossed....

Hi After my first settlement and a little holiday !! I have now got my second claim filed with MCOL on the 30th Oct & Acknowledged on the 6th Nov; All seemed to be going well until a letter arrived this morning that my wife has read to me saying "they will not be paying any refunds WHAT SO EVER"... as they had already made us an offer in Sept' ......that we did not except or reply to ?? IS THAT AN ISSUE ?? Any thoughts ?? Many thanks TRICKY

Hi This may seem a little dumb but I am going to ask anyway.... Over the years I have switched card providers to the better rates... as you do ! so at times I have gone back too Say barlclaycard from capital one or Cap One Visa to M/card.... What I would like to know is when I send off my SAR does this give me the information for all the accounts I have held with Cap one or B/card over the years or just the last one ? Any help would be great thanks ! PS over six year s??? where is the best info on this ??? Cheers Tricky

You will be fine; The timetable is the most important thing..... 14 days then file on line if you can ( do it before 9am & it will be issued that same day; couple of days to reach Halifax then your off & running !!!) Plenty links to templates to use ! Good luck, you will be fine ...

Birmanmadi Dates !!! these are nearly the most important issue to start with... 14 days from memory after your first letter then go to next letter and so on.... this is regardsless to offers your your own rejection letters.... FO is the bog standard scare you off response DONT WORRY !!!.... As I said before read as many threads ( from the start ) & FAQ's to figure out what to do & when ... GOOD LUCK

I gotta bigger Joint claim about to start; then move on to Credit Cards, but still some research to do about them as I am not sure how it works if you has variuos cards at times with the same provider ?? BONG Sorry quick question; ! Have you had more than one CC with say barclaycard or HSBC ?? I have won bank Charges Vs Halifax and am now sorting myself out for Credit Cards ! so was just checking when you have requested statements will you get ALL or just for one card at a time ??

OK GET THIS ! Called Halifax this morning after getting offer of charges & Court fees.... explained that they had failed to include the 8% interest !! ( thought I had messed Up) Cut a long story short !! called me five min's ago; huge apologies !!!! big mistake on them 8% will be sent too !!! HOW COOL IS THAT !!!!! This site has been fantastic ! Thanks to all those who have helped me ! & all those who have posted threads to read about !!!
