  1. I think it is a pretty good outline of all what's need. Take time to do it and dont' rush. I was preparing mine to send off in a couple of weeks time when bank paid up. Don't worry you won't get to court as they pay up before that. ~Anyway just be prepared just in case!
  2. Thanks Pete but the bank has now paid in full. Many thanks.
  3. Nationwide paid back my charges claimed but included in letter that they give me 30days notice and will close my account unless I agree to abide by their terms and conditons and won't be making any more such refunds. I have given them the final decision letter but they said sorry we are sticking by what we say. You see I owe money on my card and if I do not accept terms and conditions, they will send debt collectors in as they have in some cases and put a default in your records which last 6 yrs. I am now in a dilema. Think I will accept and pay off as quickly as I can and close account.
  4. Thanks lucid. Yes evey thing given including all interest plus even the few extra charges that arrived since court action started! I feel so relieved and want others like me who tremble at the thought of going to court to face experts on the other side, that they should not worry but just keep going to the end. I just hope legislation will be passed to curb the banks on these unlawful charges. Oh I have made a donation already. Thanks once again to everyone. I am out to celebrate tonight with a lovely dinner paid for with my debit card. I will enjoy my meal! No idea how to PM a MOD. What is that?
  5. You wouldn't believe this lucid. I have been off line for a few days due internet problems. Checked my online account and found nearly £4000 credited to my account. How about that??????? Another success and must post it in the success thread but don't know how to. Thanks for all your help and many thanks to all. Will need to donate for sure. Just the credit card left to claim.
  6. Thanks so much. Wish me luck! All the best to you too.
  7. I am getting my bank folder together. Do I have to highlight sections of the many laws I am going to use just on my copy or do I have to highlight the judge's and the solicitor's? Also can I include media copies on bank charges and for eg Peter Mcnamara's in script? I don't have the cd, so will this be OK? Thanks
  8. Hi Lisa Well I am getting my Lloydstsb bundle ready. Can I include media print offs and anything else from the bank folder etc to do with charges? Do I need to highlight in the various laws etc sections I will be referring to just on my copy or on the solicitors and judges also? Thanks veb
  9. Hi Marcopolo, I received a order from my local court today stating that my claim is to be transfrred to the Admiralty & Commercial Registry, Royal Court of Justice, Strand. They spelt Admiralty wrong. Typing error I guess. I don't know the reason and need to find out. I don't see why as an individual with no knowledge of law really why I should be redirected to that court. By the way is this the Mercantile court because that is not mentioned.
  10. This is the first time I have tried to reply. Wonder if you will get this. Anyway I have just received a letter from my local court that: upon the judge considering the allocation it is ordered tht the claim be transferred to the Admiralty & Commercial Registry, Royal Court of Justice, Strand. There is no date so I guess this comes later. I have contacted my court to find out why it is being transferred. I don't want to go up there! ~Should I write the court and send a similar copy of yours? I am lost at the moment. Don't know why it has been transferred.
  11. Pete H Need your help badly. Court case coming up. I put a claim online but did not include schedule of charges even to court or to solicitors. What do I do now? Can I take one to court and send one to bank solicitors?
  12. Hello Nattie. I am wondering what to do with NW. If I refuse their condition and they will close the account, I am sure the debt collectors will come in and my credit file will be affected. veb
  13. I have answered on the quick reply section. Not sure where to add a reply. New to this I am afraid! Sorry. NW have eventually refunded in full without the interest of course. They put the money into my card acc. and put a conditon that they will make no further such refunds. I wrote saying I will only accept if the condition was removed. They replied giving me 30 and my acc. will be closed. They said if I agreed, then they would not close. I could not believe this tactic!
  14. This is so true. NW has eventually fully refunded without interest of course but put in a condition that they will make no further such refunds. They say they had credited my card. I replied saying I will only accept the refund if condition removed. They replied giving 30 days notice to close acc. but if I agreed to their conditions they won't close.
  15. Good luck. I have just received a defence from Lloyds. I am about to fill in the Allocation questionnaire. So much in their defence re all being lawful and no breach of contract so their charges cannot be a penalty they say, consequently they say there is no requirement that the charge ber a pre-estimate of the bank's loss They say they give warning of charges being imposed. They say their charges are fair and reasonable, and deny that they are unlawful and they deny my claim. Well the fight goes on!
