  2. Hi all, I'm in the early stages of preparing my claim against HSBC for bank charges from Jan 2000 to June 2006. Charges to my account in that period have been approx £1400.00. I notice that on the online statements every month I have interest charged to my account for about £12 - £29, adding up to about £600.00, although I have gone over my agreed overdraft facility. So my question is can can I also claim for this £600.00 or can HSBC argue that it was a justified interest charge for being overdrawn. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.
  3. Mate, read my original !!! (this is why I posted) In fact please don't bother
  4. Sorry to have wound you up by posting in the wrong forum !. I was asking a GENERAL question about an account that may not be covered by Legislation covered in this forum and could therfore be viewed by the majority of forum users. Perhaps a less curt reply next time, manners don't cost unlike the banks !!
  5. Have cained me quite heavily over the past couple of years. After finding this great forum I am considering pitting my wits against them. However, with this account being one of the 'new breed' offset accounts I am wondering how I might fare. I have conducted a search of 'the one account' and 'virgin' on this site but nothing. Any advice appreciated.........................
