  2. Thank you, we will request CCA as you advise. Can anyone else offer advice as to how we should proceed please? My sister is rather vulnerable at present and they seem to be aware of this; threatening bankruptcy etc. She has a school age child and is feeling very anxious.
  3. Following a holiday points club sale last year, my recently bereaved sister is being harassed by a debt collection agency for the finance credit payments. The original finance agreement was with Barclay's partner finance . After my sister signed the agreement, it became apparent that we had been mislead into the contract. However, the two week's cooling off period had lapsed. We disputed the agreement with Barclays. Their reply was vague and seemed to miss the points of our dispute. Since then, my sister has heard from a debt collection agency and has paid £100 by phone. They have demanded bank statements and pay slips within seven days. They are refusing to acknowledge a dispute and deny receiving communication from us to this effect. My sister's husband died after a short illness last month. Can anyone advise please?
  4. Hi, Has anyone had problems with the above holiday club? It's a holiday points club based in Marbella. I'd be particularly interested to hear from anyone who has been induced to buy points, financed by Barclay's partner finance, then found out they had been lied to re: points fee, finance agreement etc. Thanks, julanne
