You appear to know a great deal about default. What is the proper date of default. I have a demand from Aktive Kapital, who claim that they have taekn over an old debt from Debenhams, from 2001. They have put on a default dat at 2003. Can they do this?

Hi All Some time ago I ent off a S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) to Cabot regarding a debt that I knew not of. In due course they repilied stating that they had bought the debt from another company and did not have to provide the original signed agreement and also that a letter from them explaining that fact was legal and sufficient. Are they correct to assert?
