I've recently received copies of my River Island account statements, and within them is a statement for someone else! It has their full address, and personal account number on it. What would ou advise me to do with this? I'm going to send a copy of the statement to the lady who's account it is advising her to complain to them directly - but I'm also now worried that some of my details may have gone to another person? Can anybody quote or link me to any identity theft laws or procedures I can quote to them, and would it be advisable to ask them to put a note on my credit record in case anyone has received my details and tries to obtain credit with them? thanks in advance

Newbie here, spent most of the day reading through these pages for information. Am fuming after a £60 charge was put onto my account today, first charge I've had in ages (used to get loads when I was younger) and they wouldn't refund it - after learning you can claim back up to 6 years worth I have today written to the bank requesting statements going back that far. I used to work for the NatWest and know just how little work is caused by a bounced DD or SO etc and there is no way they can get away with charging £30 a pop for them! Here's hoping I can get this sorted! Will keep this updated!
