  2. hi ims, on the form statinv101 for my sons case, I have filled in the 36 monthly payments, but on the top where it says account numer its gone funny and it also says the monthly payment of PPI is 836.30 should that read total PPI. not monthly.....will they pick up on this.

  3. Morning, just trying to build a letter on my sons case. I think my son thought it was all part of the deal as it comes on the same sheet as the loan details. it was his first loan he had taken out. So in this light could it be said that it was not made clear to him.

    regards

  4. So basically we can take it that the 35 payments went out on the 1st of each month my son credit rating is impeccable so it would of done. so in that statinsheet there will be a list of 36 payments.is it normally cut and dry or will we have to go to fos for there 5 pennyworth.

    thanks ims21

    under this agreement £836.30

  6. yes I have read that but what is confusing me is do i just do a single entry eg the total amount payable under this agreement............and does the 8% can i pm you the figures as they stand please.if i can remember how to do that.lolol.regards Nigel1804

  7. I have also come across a loan that my son had from HSBC . now this loan started on 1st sept 2003 for 35 monthly payments.there is a principal loan and a seperate box named

"CREDIT PROTECTION INSURANCE LOAN" this spells out the following:

premium amount(including insurance premium tax) £xxx

    Amount of loan £xxx

total charge for credit £xxxx APR14.9 % this is just for the credit protection insurance loan bit. Is this included as PPI and are we still in the time band as it completed 35 months later which takes us to Sept 2006......... Can we claim for this even though it is in his agreement...?

    regards ndr1804.

  8. Can you just tell me do i use spreed sheet Cis (2) for the credit cards and just fill in when the charges was applied, does it work differently than the charges I thought the 8% was only added if they were taken to court.........sorry not found the FAQs about this PPI yet.

So basically do a covering letter and fill in spread sheet and do the spread sheets work out the interest like the charges did and which interest do I use to claim back......getting into it again..

    thanks ims21

  9. Yes I have them from when I claimed the charges back from them in 2006. I'm just a bit rusty on the site after being away for some time.............mortgage paid out way more than the cost of the PPI ...I think but i will have to calculate.....but I'm going to do my 2 old credit cards..... I had a loan with the Halifax as well which paid these off but they have taken the acct number off the online banking maybe i should check that out too.

    regards nigel1804

  10. WELL ,WELL, WELL here we go again,

Could someone please just advise on on the following. my statements from my old credit cards have a thing on them called "repayment Cover" do I take this to be a form of PPI.

I have also had income protection on my mortgage and a loan but I have had to use this feature......can I still claim the PPI back even though I have had to use the scheme or is that just being a little bit cheeky.

My last statement on these cards was june and july of 2006, can I claim and can I go back to when I first got the card in 2002...?

Hi again to old friends on the site..

    Regards Nigel1804

  11. I have been frantically trying to find some of my old terms and conditions for bank charges. I have a letter which the second paragraph says:

"I am sure you will appreciate that like other organisations we incur costs for administrating your account for late/unpaid payments or overlimit situations. The bank believes it is fair to pass these costs on to the accounts affected, rather than absorb them into other areas of our organisation, penalising all our other customers as a result."

So does this mean that they are penalising me.?

Don't know if this helps in anyway The Consumer Forums - FAQ - The New Bank Charges Position

I normally keep allsorts of rubbish so I'm going to keep looking for the terms and conditions of the time.

    regards

    Nigel
