This is only my second post. At my first I said that i had decided to tackle Abbey about over the top bank charges. I sent the first letter on the 10 July by registered post. It got to them on the 11th at 3pm. I checked that on the post office site. My account lists came back on the 19th though there letter was dated the 12th. I have just finished sorting every thing out and it will be in the post tomorrow. I am confident of a positive out come from what i have read on the forum. It has been difficult to sort things out from the way they set out the account sheets and the way they type out the charges and interest on the charges when they have put me overdrawn by them adding charges. Still it is thanks to you all for the positve posts you put in to this forum. Am I babbling on a bit. I have just had my son tell me that I will never beat the big banks. Just you wait I said. Why is it that people still will not accept this website as the best thing since sliced bread. Oh boy I had better get of to bed.I willlet you know the outcome as soon as I do. Good night all. Earlier this week got notification from my Sky Credit Card provider. Late payment charge DOWN from £25 to £12. Will other card providers follow suite? Also charge for minimum payment UP from 2.5% to 3%.
