Hi I have a couple of credit cards which I have paid every month including the payment protection insurance. I became ill after an accident a couple of years ago and had to stop work the insurance company took over the repayments, for 12 months. I have been unable to return to work after the 12 month period. after having a couple of operations one was within the 12 month period of first claim. After the 12 months I took up the repayments again, even though this was only for about 2 months. my second operation was last month, so because this was for a totally different illness I tried to claim again on the insurance. They have said because I never went back to work that I can not claim the payment protection. I have always kept my payments up to date. can they do this And if so why on earth am i paying payment protection. can anyone advis me on what i can do

Hi can I ask you what year you went back to claiming bank charges from the Nat West. My husband and I used to bank with them and had thousands taken off us over the years, Hope everything goes OK with your quest

I would like to say Hi to everyone, My bank Nat West charged me over a number of years excessivley, I tried to get some of the charges refunded but my bank manager would not budge one inch. I left the bank and went to RBS who have been brilliant with me. I saw the artical on GMTV saying that it was possible to get bank charges back, that is how I came to this site. I am reading the FQA with great interest. And would like to wish everyone success in their quest to retrieve back the banks unreasonable charges. good luck to all
