  6. Not sure if all private nurseries are same obviously, but when my son went I had to actually pay to secure his place.....the fees were spreadout weekly/monthly and I paid the same each month, but it was worked out at the daily rate x Xnumber of days per year [EXCLUDING bank holidays] then divided equally per month.........are you sure this isn't how you're nursery has worked it out? PJ xXx
  7. I've just started listening to Madina Lake [From Them Through to Us - I think thats the name of the album of the top of my head lol] and Angels & Airwaves [i-Empire] - couple of fantastic albums IMO. YouTube - Madina Lake - Here I Stand (Music Video) YouTube - Angels and Airwaves - Everything's Magic: Closed Captioned
  8. Not sure if its just some areas then, as I'm a single parent, working part-time and getting working & child tax credits, and I'm not eligible for help with school uniforms. It wasn't too bad when they were both at the same school - like someone posted earlier, a lot got handed down to the little one [poor bugger always gets cast offs, being the youngest lol], but the older one's started high school now - completely different uniform and an endless list of what he HAD [according to the school handbook] have!
  9. I can't believe they're still going for ridiculous prices! I bought my son one last xmas and pre-ordered it when it was 1st released for pre-order in the summer, just to make sure I got 1 [well worth it though - they're great! lol] Try these links: Nintendo Wii Bundles : Techsplosion UK, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS Lite Nintendo Wii in stock - locator Nintendo Wii In Stock Updates Hope you manage to get hold of one! PJ
  10. providing you steer away from the Strip in the evening, you should avoid most of the half naked, puke covered totty [trust me, I wasn't either when I went lol] - although, most of the half naked peeps were the ones trying to get you into the bars [tiny shorts, bras, corsets, and fur boots??? wtf lol]
  11. I don't know personally, but I'm bumping this in the hope that someone will come along and answer you
  12. Try this bazak Holiday Truths - Magaluf resort guides, reports and Magaluf discussion forum I went to Magaluf a couple of years ago, in April, on a hen do - personally I thought it seemed more geared towards clubbers rather than families, but that might just be because it was the start of the clubbing season, rather than the 'traditional' holiday season PJ
  13. Hi Taz, Did any of the accounts that you've received defaults on have any excessive charges applied [i.e. the Cap One account]? The reason I ask is that I've successfully had 2 out of the 3 defaults on my credit file removed within the last few months. One placed by Yorkshire Bank, which I reclaimed charges from, and another one by a catalogue company, who couldn't actually supply me with a signed credit agreement or copy of the default notice I should have received.
  14. Hiya Daisy, From what I understand of your post, you've already sent them the 2nd letter [LBA] - am I right? If so, and they reply negatively, or not at all, within the 14day timeframe you gave them, it is then time to file your N1 or MCOL, where you also claim the 8% stat. interest, under S69. If I've misunderstood, and you've only sent the first letter [Prelim request for refund], then you would send the LBA next, before filing your claim with the courts. Hope this helps, and best of luck PJ xx
  15. Bit late now rodos lol - if you notice the thread title the date was changed to last nite lol - but thanks for the info anyway lol
  16. Whoops! I forgot it was 9th June! I told someone last night that it was the 15th! That's when I go to Blacky so you can't have it without me!! [i'm not even blonde this week lol PJ xx
  17. Hi secretary, You can claim all the returned dd charges, the unauthorised overdraft charges and also the £25 they charge each month [are these the ones at the end of the same month where you've been charged £8 per day for unauth. o/d? - its a rip off isn't it!!]. It is difficult to work out what proportion of the debit interest you can claim back, as part of it refers to the authorised overdraft bit, and part of it refers to the charges - you can only claim back the part of the interest which relates directly to the charges. I believe there's a spreadsheet somewhere on this site that can help you work that out, but I'm not sure where it is - perhaps someone else can provide a link? If you've any further questions, or just want a bit of moral support, just post in your thread and someone will definately be along. PJ x
