Settled in full on 7th of December. Excellent It's hard to believe that they give in so easily...

I have a mortgage with A&L as well, could they close this in retaliation as well as the current account (I'm not claiming for charges on the mortgage)? Cheers MB

Hi, I'll be going after Smile for a few hundred pounds shortly, and i'm wondering how best to contact them. A couple of posts have spoken abount finding a "named contact" who you speak to on the phone, whereas some people seem to just send letters. Do both these approaches work? Thanks, Austin
