  1. Yeah I get it. I just re-read the only letter I have received from Moorcroft who say my details have been passed on to them from Cabot on Cabot’s behalf and are now dealing with my account. Cabot already tried with their own in-house solicitors, and didn’t get anywhere court wise ….so makes sense they pass it on to someone else to try for them … these will also fail too … There’s no paperwork except a statement of last payments from 2022- and that’s clear as Cabot acknowledged my CCA request in July 2023( even though I sent it in April 2023) last and never came through with anything. I used to be scared if these people but thanks to this site, and the outstanding knowledge on it, I no longer am. so I thank each and every one of you.
  2. Now receiving emails but they are marked as junk. If I get court forms again come through like I did with Cabot, will I not need a CCA request from moorcroft to dispute since they have taken it over from Cabot .
  3. Nothing new just calls and texts from moorcroft. Blocked calls and texts, reported as spam.
  4. Ok. I will continue to ignore and will keep this updated as and when I receive more from them.
  5. Ugh so Cabot use both Mortimer Clark AND Moorcroft yes I will IGNORE. regarding my old username, I no longer have access to my old email address and don’t remember the password so I cannot login using it.
  6. Ok I found my post it seems after losing it…. I received a letter from Moorcroft . they have received information from Cabot financial…. it seems that Cabot have sold it on. so the cycle begins again. should I send a CCA Request to Moorcroft or should I wait for more correspondence from them first ?

Just a quick update… no response at all to CCA request. just gone back to the beginning with the harassing calls ( which get blocked as Truecall shows them as Cabot ) and todays letter was just the standard your account is in arrears please call us to set up a repayment plan. I guess I will just wait again for the PAP letter now and go through it all over again it seems
  8. I haven’t received any emails from them ever. The text message was filtered via Truecall and was subsequently blocked.
  9. a follow up for the last letter. I got a SMS saying I had a new letter and I viewed it online it told me that my account is no longer on hold and I should call them to set a repayment plan. er..no I don’t think so ! Still no response to my CCA request I guess I will just wait for the next PAP form to come is it worth sending a 3rd CCA request?
  10. I actually lost the proof of posting for the first one but I have the second one form April. I will keep this letter with my other things in the file and will keep you updated if anything else comes . This is the letter I received 2023-11-03 didnt get cca requests.pdf

I couldn’t find it anywhere Update: Yesterday they sent me a letter regarding my dispute on their PAP saying that I had previous made legal requests and they didn’t receive it and as such they were not aware this information was required. (He has not however mentioned the fact that I requested a CCA back in April 2023 and am still awaiting comeback from that ) The letter then goes to say if I want to request a CCA then please do so within 30 days. My account has been placed on hold! what should my next move be ? Funny thing is I sent all that paperwork back in April and they only are acknowledging it on 16th October ( letter received today was dated 3rd November ) Only took them 6 months
  12. I can’t find my original posts. They seem to have disappeared. basics are Cabot tried to get a CCJ, i I sent them a CCA late last year, no response. Resent in April. They acknowledged in July and I’m still waiting for that. Filled in the PAP also in April. No response to that as of yet. Yesterday they sent me a letter regarding my dispute saying that I had previous made legal requests and they didn’t receive it and as such they were not aware this information was required.   13. just about update. a letter from MC dated 31st July please note that your dispute is still being currently investigated. We are awaiting documentation and information from our client and the original creditor which may take some time. In the meantime your account will remain in hold. We thank you for your patience. still no response to SAR either
  14. Just a waiting game. once I hear something more I will let you know but I do think that all they have is the statement payments they sent me with the letter of claim… and nothing more.
  15. today I received a letter from Mortimer Clark and not yet Cabot it says a bit about the debt- credit agreement entered Sep 2013, and terminated on 27th June 2017 and the bore agreement number xxxxxx the debt was then assigned to Cabot. Your dispute - we understand you are disputing stating the claimant has failed to previously ignored legal requests and failed to supply documentation. Going forward- we assure you that we will be conducting a thorough investigation into your concerns which may include contacting the original lender to obtain further information and liaising with other departments. in the meantime your account will be placed on hold. We would be grateful if you could supply us with any further information that you feel could assist our investigations Still nothing from Cabot even though I believe MC are their in-house solicitors.
  16. I still haven’t heard a single thing. It’s been over a month. 5 weeks or so. Is it known that companies may sell it to someone else since if they know they don’t have the paperwork to do anything legally?
  17. I’m not going anywhere Dx…. I was just asking for info when the 12+2 starts ..and yes I have the proof of postage too. I just thought they may acknowledge the cca request at least as I’m genuinely curious to see what they have
  18. Still nothing. no acknowledgment. Does the 12+2 start from when they receive it ? it’s been 13 days since I posted the cca and the PAP loc reply
  19. a little update … it’s been a week since posting the paperwork. I used to receive multiple calls from various numbers and places but 2 days after I sent the paperwork, that has all stopped. Not one call since Friday… that’s 6 days. Funny that !
  20. it doesn’t become statute barred once the default drops from the credit file ?
