  1. My partner was driving in an unfamiliar area, which was at Barking station. We were using Waze at the time and had no intention of entering a Pedestrian Zone. We received x2 PCN letters, both '53j failing to comply with a restriction on vehicles entering a pedestrian zone'. The only option in that short space of time was to go straight ahead. As we approached the round about ahead we looped back and took the exit through Longbridge Road as I was meeting someone (they live locally and had stated that these restrictions are new and there has not been any announcements of these changes) at Salisbury Avenue near Nando's and wanted to meet them as close to that location as possible, which is where we received the 2nd PCN ticket. Do we have any grounds to appeal against this and cancel both PCNs' or just pay for one? I would appreciate it if anyone can please help.
