Update: resolved it; my case got flagged after I updated my details with an unrelated agency and it resulted in an address mismatch. Extremely stressful but easily sorted. Wish they were upfront about the consequences of not keeping your mailing address details updated!
I’ve been on income-based ESA since 2017, in the support group; usually I get my twice-monthly payment at midnight Tuesday, but today it didn’t arrive. I’m besides myself with worry, as I don’t have a family and not much local connections, so if I lose my benefits, I don’t have any real hope of having anything resembling a stable income. Is there anything I could do besides calling them when the phonelines open and hoping that it’s a matter of correcting a couple of details?
