He helped me sell in-game item code and after some time the buyers credit card company made unauthroized transaction chargeback or something. He still doesnt have a negative balance so he should transfer the money to his bank and close the account?

My friend doesn't have a negative balance yet but he will have -1,364.36 Pounds in 4 days, because of unauthorized transaction. Should he remove all personal information from the PayPal account and then close it or should he just ignore PayPal? What is better? Ignoring PayPal or closing down the account and ignoring them after that. Also there is still 440 pounds in the account. Is it okay if he transfers them to his card and then closes the account down and starts ignoring them when they start sending emails? Let me know
