Hello all, I am wondering if any of you out there have had experience of claiming back huge charges on a secured loan. They would be regarded as unfair and in excess of £6000 on a £22k loan. Thanks in advance. Maggie

Hi there, the charges were horrendous and I felt I had no choice but to pay when redeeming as they wouldn't give my solicitor a revised fee. Do you know the best route to go down. Happy to proceed in court also.

Hello, I have recently paid of my 9 year old secured loan with Blemain Finance. In total, they charged me £6,000 in charges etc. The loan was for £25,000. I struggled terribly from day one paying this loan but manged to pay it off when I sold my house last year. I am looking for advice on how to begin a claim as it was mis-sold to me on a self-certification basis, and the duration exceeded my interest only mortgage term. Any advice or similar experiences would be really good to hear. Thanks all. Maggie
