hi. I split with my ex 4 years ago. our children at the time were in private school which he paid for. I took them out and put them in other schools {not private}. it came to my attention last year that there is a debt of £16,000!!. they are now starting court proceedings against the both of us. I do not own my home, I do not own my car. my credit rating is probably nil as my ex blackened that some 20 years ago. What is the worst that can happen?
