  2. I think they have had sufficent time and information to sort out this matter so would it not be better to go straight to court ? As stated this is the 3rd time that the exact same persons information has been linked with me and Experian know this but have no procedures in place to stop this happening.

Yes Bankfodder, i sent my SAR on the 5/6/18 , they replied with part of my SAR and forms of what additional information i requested, i also emailed them to tell them i want the emails between Experian and O2 to establish HOW the information on my credit report had been said to be accurate when no checks had been done. They replied stating they dont disclose information exchanges between third parties. I have emailed them again stating because the information is in relation to me i insist they send this to me along with all of the additional information i have requested on there SAR form.

This is the information i want, i want to know who has made the links, now there are also a couple of documents i can post (shots of my credit report).April 18 shows O2 as the source of the linked address i am disputing, June 18 shows Experian as source of the link to the disputed address, so they have changed the source of the data. Source screen shot.pdf I dont know if this has been done because the lender has said the data is accurate so it has been changed to Experian being the source ?? or they have changed it because they have made the mistake and are in fact the source of the link I do agree with Bankfodder and i indeed would like to pursue this to obtain a judgement. In the meantime i will email Experian again requesting the information i want. Thanks
  5. After requesting my credit report in April i noticed multiple mistakes on my file relating to another person of the same name and DOB, this person has a middle name and i do not. Ive listed what i have done so far and need advice as what to do next. 21/4/18 Emailed Experian telling them the information on my report was wrong 27/4/18 Received email stating they were raising my email as a complaint. 1/5/18 Received response from Experian explaining there investigation.(stated that the company had removed accounts from my report but not the linked addresses. and that it was the result of a mis trace), also stated they would not remove the linked addresses even though they knew the information was incorrect. 17/5/18 Received email from Experian stating "linked address made by O2, they confirm this data is accurate so we cant remove the links. 5/6/18 SAR sent to Experian 11/6/18 Received credit report as part of SAR with form to fill out asking what information i wanted. 11/6/18 forms returned along with email asking for all correspondance between Experian and the comapnies listed on my email dated 21/4/18. 11/6/18 received email back from Experian(which im confused about) but i think means we cant give you the information between Experian and the companies even though what i was requesting is about me. As of today not received additional information requested. Documents ive posted here: My intitial email of 21/4/18 Letter from Experian of 1/5/18 Emails x2 from 17/5/18 Email 11/6/18 about 3rd parties. Reason i have made this thread Experian have acknowledged that the information on my credit report is wrong due to a mis trace and will not remove the linked addresses. This is surely breaching DPA/GDPR. The linked addresses will cause more wrongful information to be placed on my credit file through searches. They will not disclose conversation between Experian and O2 as part of my SAR, i have requested this to find out who is actually the cause of the link and i also want to know what FACTS O2 have provided Experian with to not remove the links.   6. Sorry i maybe should have worded that better, They have simply not responded or acknowledged the question. All of the information concerning the accounts which are mistaken identity on my credit report have been supressed, from accounts, linked addresses, all searches carried out have been removed. Without detailing a lot more information the original post will become lost i think, the main issue is WHY and WHO has changed my Electoral roll without consent.   7. I check my credit reports quite often and in March this year i started having serious trouble with mistaken identity. This thread is about my Electoral Roll Entry on my Noddle(call credit) Credit Report. At the beginning of March my credit report was clear and all information correct, by the 23rd of March my Electoral Roll Entry had been changed to have a middle initial. I emailed Noddle to find out why without any permission or legal documents being supplied had my Electoral Roll been changed. No reply so i emailed them again. Up until this point they have refused to answer the question. Because some files have been suppressed on my credit report for the time being , my Electoral Roll entry has been changed again to show the correct name. What is going on and WHO is at fault here ??? SAR requested from call credit , awaiting response, dont know if that will show me what im looking for. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Having some issues with O2 as of March this year as they have decided to link 2 accounts for another person with the same name and DOB as myself, however this other person has a middle name and i do not. I do not have any accounts with O2. 18/3/18 Received letter stating i was in breach of contract for not paying my O2 bill. 22/3/18 Received letter telling me they had stopped me making calls and texts. 23/3/18 Checked call credit report and O2 had already linked my address with the debtors in Janurary 18 and had both accounts listed. 23/3/18 Emailed call credit stating the incorrect information. 2/4/18 Received letter from O2 telling me they had disconnected my phone. 7/4/18 Requested credit report from Experian. 20/4/18 received letter from call credit stating that O2 had not bothered to respond to them, and are unable to amend the entries to my credit file without the permission of O2. 20/4/18 same letter as above also stating that the disputed entries will be supressed from my credit file, however, O2 can remove the suppression at any time. 21/4/18 complaint letter sent to Experian stating the incorrect accounts and linked addresses. 17/5/18 Received email from Experian telling me O2 had supplied the following details "The link is correct as the account was registered to the disputed address." 1/5/18 Received letter from Experian stating O2 had removed the accounts but not the linked addresses. 1/5/18 Complaint send to ICO about Experian knowingly registering wrong information on there systems even though it had been proved it was not me O2 were looking for. 5/6/18 sent SAR to Experian 5/6/18 SAR sent to O2 8/6/18 Received letter requesting what specific information i wanted from Experian. 11/6/18 Sent Experian an email stating i wanted the information between themselves and O2 to see what had been said about the matter. 11/6/18 Received email back from Experian stating that they had supplied the information the comparison data sets in the additional information i could request. No information regards conversations about themselves and O2. What O2 have done here is add accounts and linked addresses to a serial debtor on my credit report , opening the floodgates for all of these other companies to jump on the bandwagon adding CCJs , Defaults, Late payment accounts to my credit files. They are refusing to remove the wrong data from my Experian report and as stated above have not even replied to call credit about the issue. No reply as yet from the ICO as they are running 8 weeks behind about the Experian complaint. Next steps to take against O2 if anyone has any suggestions, AGAIN O2 are the ones that have opened the floodgates for all of the other comapnies to throw wrongful information onto my credit files without even bothering to do the correct checks. ***Please also note that my Experian credit report in April stated O2 were the source of the linked address, however my credit file in June states Experian are the source of the linked address*** Something funny going on i think.   9. Hi CitizenB, I did spot this and the final draft sent does state "Incorrect". It truly is a horrid situation and I wouldnt wish this on anyone , its ok for them to send letters stating "we understand that this has caused blah blah blah", but im sorry they do not understand one little bit. Everytime this happens it turns my life upside down and this one has came at the wrong time, the time i am spending trying to sort this mess out is totally depriving me time with my new 4 week old daughter.

  11. I totally see where you are coming from on this and although i have had this thought many times i have dismissed the idea through " why the hell should i through there incompetance"
  12. Please bear with me on this one as some of the information is by memory and as you can understand this has been going on quite a while. In 2002 ish i received a phone call from a debt collection agency (cant remember who) asking as they do is that MR xxxx , i obviously said yes it is, they said it was in relation Barclays, i told them i had never had any dealings with Barclays. In 2003 applied for remortgage and declined told to check credit report. Checked credit report and found CCJ on my file from Barclays. Sent numerous letters to Experian, Barclays, County Court. 2004 received reply from Barclays stating Default removed and CCJ set aside. 2010 started having problems with Lloyds Bank after being refused credit 2013 credit report from Equifax shows a default for another Barclaycard. 2018 address links made by O2 added to call credit , checked file same account with default added again by Barclays (2013) Complaint to Call credit about address links and numerous defaults on credit file from various lenders, O2 which made the address links did not respond within 28 days so all information on credit file was supressed for now, but stated these could reappear at any time. I hope this helps a little, on my call credit report it did not help matters that 'SOMEONE' had changed my electoral roll entry without any permission or legal documents from myself, they will NOT answer the question why this happened. This issue over the years has been all 3 CRAs , 2018s entry has been with call credit only at the moment.

Hopefully this will clarify how the CRAs work , i have posted here a couple of paragraphs from my letter i received off Experian about Lloyds , i have also attached the full letter for those who have PDF reader, which i would advise reading. “As we have advised in previous correspondence, the companies who provide the credit reference agencies are the ones who are ultimately responsible for the accuracy of the data they send to those credit reference agencies” "As previously advised, any instance of Experian providing your address or any other address to a company as a 'POSSIBLE' address for there creditor would have been on the strict understanding that they take the appropriate steps to ensure they have established that their creditor does indeed live at an address before linking them with it" Thanks.   16. After checking my credit report in March this year i discovered i had a CCJ on my credit report. I knew this could not relate to me as i have never deafulted on any account i have had, next step i took was to pay the fee for trust online to get the details of the CCJ. The details showed that the CCJ had been issued by Volkswagon Finance, i have never had a car on finance i knew it was wrong. My credit file stated it was for another person with the same name and DOB as myself , apart from he has a middle name and i do not. Next step sent a SAR to Volkswagon Finance, and this just proves that they do not carry out checks properly, they sent me the SAR request and everything i received was relating to this other person, nothing relating to me at all. Now i have this other persons bank acc number, sort codes, drivers licence,email address, and every letter/email/court proceedings.   17. Ill start by stating i have never had any dealings with Lloyds Bank in my life but they have registered accounts on my credit report. There is two accounts on my file one mortgage for an address which is not mine and also a credit card again which is not mine. The mortgage is in serious arrears and the credit card is listed as defaulted.I am also receiving debt collection letters. I have had problems with Lloyds in 2010 - 13 where they also had a CCJ against me. They also sent a letter from there solicitors to my address stating i was a fraudster. (see attachment) I managed to get things erased from my credit file eventually through a lot of hard work , and eventually i went to the newspapers and FOS who helped me sort it. I received a disgraceful amount of compensation for what they had put me through and now they have managed to wreck my credit file again. I have sent SAR off and i am awaiting response. Again this is for a person with the same name and DOB as me but this person has a middle name and i do not. Any help or similar experiences with this kind of thing would be good to know so i can again chase them. Thanks.   19. From March of this year i have been having Barclaycard registering a default on my credit file for an account that does not belong to me and registered to an address i have never lived at. However the name and DOB is the same as mine apart from this other person has a middle name and i do not. I contacted the CRAs about this problem but they say they will not remove it unless Barclays tell them they can. I have sent a SAR to Barclays on the 5/6/18 but so far ive not even had an acknowledgement from them. This is not the first time this has happened with Barclays as they also registered a CCJ to me back in 2003 by mistake and again in 2010, i managed to get my credit files cleared but again they have made the same mistake again, looking to get this resolved asap and i want compensation for the problems they have caused me over the years. Any advice and suggestions of what i could do next would be great thanks.

  21. All SARS are due by the 6/7/18. So far i have had the SAR from the one stated above and my SAR from Experian(although Experian wont give me all of the information i have requested). I have 3 companies that have replied and passed it onto there relevant dept. I have received replys from 3 companies stating they have no record of me on there files. (have no information to give them to generate a report from them). I have had a reply from 1 stating they need 90 days to fulfill my request. I have 5 requests that have not been acknowledged at all.
  22. Received SAR back from one company so far, none of the information relates to me or my address but for the other person beleived to be me. I now have full details of why a CCJ was made , full bank details, drivers licence etc for this other person. Looking to get solicitors involved but unsure of what kind of solicitor i require or if there is any kind of specialised service i could use, or to try and solve the matter myself. I will be getting the relevant authorities involved but while that is happening i want to bring the company to book for ruining my credit report with the CCJ they issued against me in fault.

Hi all, just wanted to let you know where we are upto and what im doing in regards to this matter. ive received back letters from 6 companies requesting what information i want/along with information i do not have e.g account numbers,previous addresses etc to fulfill my SAR requests, to put it quite bluntly im pretty much spitting in the wind. Nearly every company so far either by written letter or emails i have sent are coming back stating they have no records of me with the information i have provided, name, DOB, address etc. This for me quite clearly points all fingers at Call Credit for there monumentous mess up. To recap, O2 linked an account with myself for this other person, in turn linking his address. Along with these linked address came 14 other accounts that were not mine. Call Credit stated that all information added to my report is the companies doing. They are telling me that in a single day 14 companies added their accounts/defaults/CCJs to my report , but yet when i challenged them they tried to contact O2, because O2 did not get back to them within 28 days they removed the account from my report (for the time being they say). However miraculously ALL of the accounts from different lenders were also removed, NOW if it is the lenders that MUST give permission for a CRA to remove data from a report then id be astonished if they all gave there permission to remove the data from my report. I think what has happened is 1 account has been linked and Call Credit have messed up merging all of mine and this other persons information together. Id like to thank all of you that have contributed to helping me, unfortunately it seems that they have won and theres pretty much nothing i can do about it, ill have to try a different avenue to go down to try and resolve the matter.   24. Received SAR from Experian, got credit report and a form to fill in asking for what information i wanted. I filled form out this morning and replied along with a short email asking , "As part of my SAR i also want all correspondance between Experian and the companies stated in my email dated xx/xx/xx. Received a reply and this is exactly what there reply was "With regards to the information exchanges between Experian and 3rd party companies, the information is contained within the previous searches part of your statutory report that you have already received and within the comparison data sets in the additional information you could request." All a previous search shows is company name, date, reason for search e.g Application. Am i right in thinking that they are saying they can not disclose information discussed about me between themselves and the company ?? I want to know what has been said when i have made my complaint and try to get to the bottom of who has made the mistake. Also on my credit report section linked addresses, when the mistake was made it stated O2 were responsible for the link, this new report now states Experian is the source of the link ?? Thanks.
